Dear Narasrimhaye

Namaste!

Thank you kindly for your reply. Your reply answers my questions very succinctly.

I am from a Vedic background and a practicing Hare Krsna devotee as well - so I understand the need for cleanliness and regulation. Thank you again; and have a wonderful day!!

Best regards

Subadhra

If its not necessary to wash your hands all the time, its ok to wear the ring while washing. But if you're in a job or task that requires washing the hands often, then its best to take the ring off, wash your hands, dry them and then put the ring back on. Be sure to place the ring in a clean place or on a small towel where you will remember to put it back on your finger.

When going to the loo for a wee, its generally ok. But not for the other more "soggy" call of Mother Nature. But then this also depends on your background and religious upbringing.

I was just wondering for practicality purposes especially for my daughter who is still quite young (for whom I have purchased a Brahma Pendant) - will it have to be seen to that the pendant gets removed every time she goes to the loo?

The answer is "No" -- since its for praticality reasons and she is young and innocent. But as she gets older, you can guide her along.

The answer is "Yes" but not while engaging in "spousal relations".
