Guest guest
Chikungunga – Effective home medicine is available in any kitchen The disease spreads through mosquitoes, which breed in stored water. As a precautionary measure, cleaning of water storage tank and other sources of stored water was advisable once a week. Chikungunga Home Treatment The name of the medicine in Kannada "Kusabi" & "Jaintuppa" and in English "Sunflower Seed" and "Honey", along with the medicine prescribed by the doctor, Infected persons should take the 2-3 gram "Sunflower Seed", remove the wrap and use the inside real seed, make it into powder and mix with the "Honey" this mixture should be taken by Infected persons three times a day, as per the ancient ayurveda, "Kusabi" and "Honey" is very useful to control the joint pain and in Chikungunga the main crisis will be joint pain. No vaccine or specific antiviral treatment for chikungunya fever is available. Treatment is symptomatic--rest, fluids, and ibuprofen, naproxen, acetaminophen, or paracetamol may relieve symptoms of fever and aching. Aspirin should be avoided Infected persons should be protected from further mosquito exposure (staying indoors and/or under a mosquito net during the first few days of illness) so that they can't contribute to the transmission cycle. Chikungunga Prevention The best way to avoid CHIKV infection is to prevent mosquito bites. There is no vaccine or preventive drug. Prevention tips are similar to those for dengue or West Nile virus: · Wear long sleeves and pants · Have secure screens on windows and doors to keep mosquitoes out. · Get rid of mosquito breeding sites by emptying standing water from flowerpots, buckets and barrels. Change the water in pet dishes and replace the water in bird baths weekly. Drill holes in tire swings so water drains out. Keep children's wading pools empty and on their sides when they aren't being used. · Additionally, a person with chikungunya fever should limit their exposure to mosquito bites in order to avoid further spreading the infection. The person should stay indoors or under a mosquito net. Gives this information, in the interest of the public, please inform any Infected persons about this information as effective home medicine –available in any kitchen for Chikungunga. Ibuprofane is known to cause ovarian cysts! please visit: http://www.fertilityplus.org/faq/nsaids.html The reasons why one should not use ibuprofane are given by U.S. National Library of medicine and also National Institute of Health at: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/medmaster/a682159.html Just read important warning in red color at the very first page of the above link and you would be scared to take ibuprofane. It is not understood when you recommend taking sunflower seed powder to alleviate joint pain, why do you recommend NSAIDS? why mix ayurveda and allopathy? It is surprising that when in U.S.A., N.L.M. and NIH give warnings and Indian doctors freely prescribe Ibuprofane or other tablets containing Ibuprofane as one component.
