Guest guest
Chocolate is pungent, bitter, and warm. It generally decreases Vata and Kapha and increases Pitta, but in excess can increase Vata also. It is stimulant, calmative and aphrodisiac. Usually it is combined with so much sugar that it is outweighed by its properties and increases Kapha through it. Chocolate can be useful for depression and hypotension, however, as an herbal tea, its nature is Rajasic (turbulent) and Tamasic (inert). Hope this was helpful .... Guest guest
Dear Sirs, My experience is that once a person starts doing simple yogic exercises for a few minutes as taught by Swami Ramdev or ATBSNR as at www.atbsnr.com, their craving for chocolates, smoking or drinking goes away. Now there is a CD also available for those who need more visually perfect way to do ATBSNR exercises. I am posting this especially for those whose such cravings are irresistible making them suffer unnecessarily. They have a birthright to enjoy the gift of life that can take them to salvation; Amen.
