Guest guest
Sh.kanishk, ** Every mantra has rhythm and frequency, while chanting, if these two parameters matches the sound spreads allover and echo develops. If one chant mantra without moving lips (Naada), which satisfies the two parameters as explained above, can realise echo in ones heart. Guest guest
Hi Kasturi, Which is the correct pronounciation of the mantra "OM NAMA SHIVAYA" In Tirumular's Thirumanthiram it is described as "OM Na-Ma-See-Vaa-Ya". Which is the correct one Shivaya or Seevaya. Guest guest
Sh.Prakash, The first letter "AUM" is a combination of three vowel sounds (Basic) i.e. it is an admixture of "AA"; "UU" and "Maa" which vibrates or excites Manipura chakra (Stomach), Anahata (Heart) and Vishddhi (Neck). Fundamentally it cleanse and remove all the negativitivity from these chakras. When one chant progressively "NaMAShi" {To pronounce first letter in Shyam - means Evening in Hindi language}, "Va" and "Ya" the prana yamaa is performed by it self. That is alternate inhaling and exhaling. Which energises the mind and and improves "concentration", "Purity of thought" and power to perceive. For these reasons "AUM" with Panchakshari is considered as Superior mantra. One can achieve "Paasupataastra" by chanting this mantra for one crore times for each letter in this mantra.
