Guest guest
Namaskar A close friend of mine recently obtained a rudraksha mala with 4,5,6,7,8,9 & 11 Mukhi. He is reluctant to wear his mala while working at his new job, where he has to handle and sometimes prepare meat. He is vegetarian himself for many years, but due to circumstance he was forced to take this job momentarily, as this was the only option to support his family for the time being, while he is actuively searching for another job. The handling of meat is giving him a lot a pain, as he is a devout vaishnava. I told him he should wear the mala all the time, also at work, but he feels he should not wear the mala while handling the meat, as it is offensive. His faith in Rudraksha is strong and so is his experience of the beads are really helping him in various ways, since the beginning he is daily chanting the associated bija mantras. Is it wrong of me to recommend him to wear his mala while handling the meat, will he get more negative karma or will it be less due to wearing the beads? I know there are different warnings about wearing certain beads in conjunction with meats. Could someone elaborate on this, while giving specific advice in this particular case? Thank you for any help, Satyadharma
