Dear Gurujis,

I am finding moon longitude being oscillating for ephemeris data with the interval of 30 seconds. Can you please tell me how to get the precise longitude with no such oscillations. FYI: I am using SWISS EPHEMERIS and "swetest.c" to get the planet's position. Also I am using LAHIRI ayanamsa.

Please tell me how to get correct longitude values? Common sense is moon cannot back and forth and it has to always travel to next longitude position with increase in time!

Thanks,

Rakesh

Dear Rakeshji,

Are you using only the DLL or also the .se1 files?

do you find the differences for any date you are trying or only for

some specific dates?

I have not come across this oscillation in my usage of the swiss

ephermeris.

regards,

Ram
