Thanks, Rakesh ---------[ Received Mail Content ]---------- Subject : [Om Krishna Guru] Moon longitude oscillating with SWISS EPHEMERIS Date : Mon, 16 Oct 2006 02:01:36 -0400 (EDT) From : "Rakesh Sawant" <rak1001 (AT) lycos (DOT) com> To : <visti (AT) srigaruda (DOT) com>, <pvr (AT) charter (DOT) net> Cc : <> Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare| Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare|| Dear Gurujis, I am finding moon longitude being oscillating for ephemeris data with the interval of 30 seconds. Can you please tell me how to get the precise longitude with no such oscillations. FYI: I am using SWISS EPHEMERIS and "swetest.c" to get the planet's position. Also I am using LAHIRI ayanamsa. Please tell me how to get correct longitude values? Common sense is moon cannot back and forth and it has to always travel to next longitude position with increase in time!
