RE: Article in Astrological Magazine from1980 or 1981

In The Astrological Magazine are a few article or writtings about the hart that I know of from 1990 till now. One of them is following here:

2003 april Angiogram -Yes or No ? "

I HAD AN heart attack on 28-9-2002 at 11-15 p.m. while asleep in bed." Writes reader P .Sree Krishna of Agra. "Some doctors are advising cardio-angiogram test and then surgery. At present I am on medicines only. Kindly advise me in the matter for proceeding further. According to How to Judge a Horoscope by DR. B. V. RAMAN and Gayatri Devi Vasudev , "If Saturn or 8th lord is conjoined with an exalted planet, it results in Purnayu. Is this applicable to this horoscope as the Moon in Lagna and Mars in Navamsa are exalted and conjoined with Saturn?

The Ascendant is Vargottama with its ruler Mars in the 5th house in a friendly sign. The Sun and Mercury are in Lagna while the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn are in the 7th aspecting the Ascendant. Ketu and Rahu are in the 4th and 10th respectively. That makes all the Kendras occupied by both benefics and malefics. Of these, the 8th lord Mercury in the Ascendant works against longevity. But the Vargottama position of the Lagna and the Full Moon in the 7th together with Jupiter are strong factors supportive of a long life taking it to the Purnayu category. The 8th lord Mercury aspected by exalted Moon and Saturn being in conjunction with such a Moon can bring the chart under the principle reader Sree Krishna quotes. But the conjunction of Saturn with exalted Mars in Navamsa cannot be considered as meeting with the requirements of the Yoga.

Currently, Saturn Dasa is on. Saturn afflicts the Sun, Karaka for the heart. The Sun is in Anuradha ruled by his bitter enemy Saturn. The 4th house is occupied by Ketu while the 4th lord Saturn is retrograde in a Nakshatra ruled by his bitter enemy Sun. This has brought about a heart condition. However, the 4th house is aspected by 4th lord Saturn. The 4th lord Saturn is with benefic 5th lord (Purvapunya- stanadhipati) Jupiter and a trinal lord Moon who is powerfully placed. This could rule out the necessity for an angiogram as well as surgery.

The heart condition was apparently triggered by the eclipses of 2002 occuring across Scorpio and Taurus involving the Janma Rasi and Ascendant. However, it does not indicate any serious condition as such. Our reader could go in for a second or third medical opinion but astrologically, surgery is not warranted. Both health and longevity appear to be safe.
