I adore Mahatma Gandhi from the core of my heart and have a deep love for him.

But i do not think that he is the 'complete solution' for India or world.

And he is very diffrent from Buddha. I wonder how he is put in the same line as the great Gautam Siddhartha.

Gandhi's intentions with Non-co-operation movement were noble but he could not foresee that this will harm India.

He was not a Seer ( Drastha-Purush). Once the masses learnt non-coperation, they continued with it ...till date. Leaders have to be very careful while teaching something to the masses. Dr. Annie Besant and several greats of India that time had advised Gandhiji NOT to start non-coperation, and had warned that it will not be good for the country.

Secondly, Gandhiji's approach of Satyagrah and Ahinmsa are great in ceratin circumstances but too much of it made the nation lack VALOUR. Comapre this with Guru Govind Singh's - "" Sava sava lakh par ek ko charhaunga, Govind Singh nij naam tab kahaunga," ( --' My one man will kill 1.25 lakhs of enemies before laying down his life. Otherwise, I will change my name !!')

Gandhi's support to Nehru is also baffling.

All this were shown right from 1948 when Nehru kept hesitating in sending troops to help Kashmir. Thank God, Sardar Patel was there who salvaged the situation. Till date we r paying the price of this Kashmir problem.

Instead of Gandhi, the policies of Tilak, Subhash Chandra Bose & Patel could have made modern India diffrerent.

Remeber the famous saying of Chankaya: "Agratah Sakal Shastram, Pristatah sasharah Dhanuh" ......With all the wisdom in mind, but bow and arrow on the shoulders !!!

Mahatma Gandhi, the Missing Laureate…

Mohandas Gandhi (1869-1948) has become the strongest symbol of non-violence in the 20th century.
