Wanted: Peace palaces for Flying Yogics

By Judi McLeod

Thursday, October 12, 2006

The Flying Yogics have Canada in their sight.

The Financial Capital of Canada with headquarters in Toronto is

calling on Canada's 40 billionaires to finance the creation of a

permanent group of 1,000 Yogic Flyers.

"On September 8, 2006, the Financial Capital of Canada was

established to crown the nation with invincibility," states a Global

Country of World Peace, media release. "This week its leaders are

calling on the nation's billionaires to finance a permanent

community of experts in a technology of consciousness that can make

the nation invincible against any destructive influence, including a

terrorist attack."

Take that, Osama bin Laden.

"To create invincibility in a country is the most creative job,"

explains Clarence Cormier, president of the organization and a

former Education Minister for New Brunswick. "It must be handled by

the most creative people in the country. Therefore, the billionaires

of every country are being invited to crown their motherland with

invincibility by creating "Peace Colonies"‹communities that will

house experts in the technology of consciousness who will hold the

reins of invincibility for their country."

To create invincibility for Canada "only requires a permanent group

of 1,000 Canadians practicing the technology of consciousness, which

includes Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying, together in one

place. These experts have already been trained and need only a

permanent community created to allow them to practice as a group."

`Yogic Ville' would soon be a reality if only the billionaires pony

up the money.

According to Cormier, "Canada has 40 billionaires with a combined

wealth of approximately $90 billion, therefore each one billion

dollars of wealth has only to build residences for ten Yogic Flyers,

which would cost approximately $500,000."

When it comes to Transcendental Meditation and Flying Yogics, like

the lyrics in the Cole Porter song Let's Do It says, "Even educated

fleas do it."

The Financial Capital of Canada is the financial affiliate of the

Global Country of World peace in Canada. The Global Country of World

Peace was founded on October 7, 2000 by His Holiness Maharishi

Mahesh Yogi, "legendary sage from the Vedic tradition, together with

scientists, educators, professionals and peace-loving citizens of

more than 100 nations."

" Its purpose is to provide a global home for peace-loving people

everywhere and to bring to the worlds the complete science and

technology of total Natural Law to prevent problems, raise every

nation to invincibility, and promote permanent world peace."

His Holiness Maharashi Mahesh Yogi, incidentally was spiritual

adviser for the Beatles.

The last time the Flying Yogics came this way nine peace palaces

were planned for Canadian soil.

As described by their promoters, peace palaces are houses with large

rooms where "Yogic Flyers" can "take off together". Each peace

palace would be home to 100 to 200 "peace creating" experts.

At the center of the plan was the move of the United Nations-

sponsored University of Peace from tropical Costa Rica to the

Toronto waterfront, as announced by former Liberal MP Dennis Mills.

At the time, Mills stressed that bringing the UN to Toronto was

his "last goal" as an elected Member of Parliament.

The University of Peace never arrived.

Mills was defeated in the federal election and now works for Magna

International.

But goaded on by the theory that "based upon theoretical and

empirical studies, scientists have found that the number of experts

needed to create an integrated national consciousness in the square

root of one percent of the country's population," Cormier and

company haven't given up on their plans.

"For Canada, with a population of 32 million, a minimum of 600

experts would be required to practice Transcendental Mediation and

Yogic Flying in one place on a permanent basis.

Trouble is, the Liberals who were in power when the Flying Yogics

first came to light cannot be counted upon to help them anymore. The

Conservative Party replaced the Liberals in January 23, 2006.

It's safe to say that the new government would feel the same way

about Flying Yogics in peace palaces as they would the Kyoto

Protocol.
