Guest guest
The human civilization has been changing. There is a remarkable change between the old world and our contemporary world. In the ancient world we did not have sophisticated science and technology. Their knowledge source came from supernaturalism, superstition and some crude form of rudimentary science and technology. Today we have gotten rid of many of our ancestors' knowledge systems. Primarily we live by modern science and the technology that came out of this science. Nevertheless, we have not changed our concept of time. The old world organized time based on the revolution of the planets, particularly the Sun and the Moon. We still follow this solar/lunar calendar. We also have days marked by the planets. We have Sunday for the Sun, Monday for the Moon, Tuesday for Mars, Wednesday for Mercury, Thursday for Jupiter, Friday for Venus, and Saturday for Saturn. Is this association of the weekdays with the planets superstition from the world knowledge system? The scientists might think so, but the siddhas, yogis and rishis of India ascertain that the planets not only rule the days and hours, but even seconds and milliseconds. The continuation of the division of time seems to be a divine law. The metal golds real wealth is divine law. It is not changeable by any country rich or poor, communist or democratic. The siddhas declare that gold is the real currency even in other realms. Like gold, the planets play a divine role in controlling the lives of plants, animals, human beings, and even oceans, mountains and land masses. Vedic astrology is a sophisticated science. In order to be a successful Vedic astrologer, one has to be a siddha himself.
