Om Amrtesvaryai Namah! Namaskarams! thank you dear brother Amarnath for that letter, part of which is reproduced above. i think that you've nailed it exactly....what may be good for one person, or even group of people may not fit for another, but that doesn't mean that he/she has to have particularly bad feelings about it... i can totally relate to what you say about being a coordinator of a group before, and now just staying home and meditating....i too was one of the founding members of our satsang group, but often now i feel NO desire to attend, and merely continue my own sadhana on my own mostly...i do however go relatively often, with pauses now and again, sometimes longer ones and sometimes shorter ones. i think you are right that Amma is not telling all of us that we have to live our lives in exactly one way...but rather that it is up to us to live in the way that feels right for each of us...for some that may be including satsang regularly, for others occasionally going, and for yet others, solo sadhana on their own....and all the possibilities are OK....each to his own! in Amma's Divine Love, and in Her Service as ever, your own Self, visvanathan Om Amrtesvaryai Namah! Guest guest
that is very true , to be with Amma one does not need to be part of any group it is a relationship between You and Your Guru only ! , we have so many different ways to realize Supreme Reality that at times especially for westerners it might seem confusing but that is the beauty , while Amma to one person might say Satsang for You is a must for another She might say something totally different. But One thing She will say the same , and that is not to hurt anyone verbally or physically. The problem is we all have some sorts of problems that is just it , we all must deal with some kind of stress , success etc... , it is a very important step in life to learn to deal with it without getting emotionally out of control. Finances will not guarantee happiness , Amma stresses this out quite often I worked once with many very wealthy clients ( the problems emotional these people experienced hard to believe such unhealthy environment ) , however I worked with poor people too problems also of different kind. We need to find grounding that is not so dependent on outer circumstances , that is not to say we might feel stressed out I do so many times but I can not let myself freak out and scream at everyone around me for my problems. One more thing surrender is also very important at young age when I lost my biological mother I thought I would freak out , I wanted to scream , I thought my life is over however I sad mentally I surrender God I have no idea what the heck is happening from this moment on I was really seriously guided , met loving people I never spend holidays alone ! , always surrounded by loving families . Over time things eased down things got better and life goes on as it does . Surrender and Peace .
