THIS IS THE MAXIMUM PRICE. basically iam from a small town near by seashore in south india , namely karaikal. our family buys all the valampuri from fishermen directly . our selling price is just 1000 inr/ and for maximum we sold 1300 inr/ gram. these are the stories what happend in 2001. after 2001 someone entered in this business telling he is the monopoly for valampuri. i dont want to mention his name. basically he is a smuggler smuggling drug heroine to neigboruing countries from india, once already caught by the police, then paid bribe and came out. that guy raised the price for valampuri too 2500 inr/gram. as buying price, as because of this nowadays its very very difficult for other normal peoples to use valampuri for pooja. that guy copereated with someone from thailand . they are buying in inr and selling on dollors. i heard he is now bidding 600 $ a gram. TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM,,,, IAM COMING TO INDIA ON SATURDAY FROM FRANCE. THEN IAM COMING TO THAILAND AND WANT TO PUBLISH IN ALL THE THAI NEWS PAPERS ABT OUT COMPANY AND DETAILS OF VALAMPURI. I WANT TO BUY IT FOR 2500 INR/GRAM AND WANT TO SELL IT FOR 3500 INR/GRAM IN THAILAND. AND NOT FOR 500$ PER GRAM. Recently I directed a person to our Lakshmi Shank contacts. The cheapest price was Rs. 6,000 per gram, and the highest price was Rs. 29,000 per gram. I thought Lakshmi meant "wealth" not LOBHA!!! They have a saying in English: "Give a (greedy) man an inch, and he will take a mile!" I'm not telling who are the greedy people, who profit excessively off of faithful, but I know who is who and will direct people accordingly away from the greedy and toward the fair.
