Himalaya Black Salt processed with Amalaki/Haritaki

Dear Vaidyas,

 

I just bought this salt product in a healthfood shop. It is imported

from Germany. (See link for product description below) The Danish

importer here claims on his website that this salt is pacifying to all

doshas. Is this really true?? If not, I would like to know if this is

an ancient recipe and what any text may say about the action of this

salt, if used sparingly? Black salt is usually quite Pitta aggravating

because of the sulphur content, so the processing with clay using

Amalaki and Haritaki must do something to the Virya/Vipaka.
