I am a pitta-kapha female, 54. I have been a TM meditator for 30 years

and was trained with Maharishi as a teacher of TM in my early twenties.

I have studied Auyurveda for 30 years.

I was suffering terribly one year ago with blisters in my troat and on

my soft pallet. My entire mouth was sore, with an enlarged tongue and a

terrible sore throat. I was finally was diagnosed with oral lichen

planus. I gave up wheat and all gluten foods and corn products also. I

eat lots of vegetables, especially green ones, beans, lentils and some

organic milk. The only grain-type food I eat is quinoa. I am mostly

vegetarian, eating chichen and fresh salmon occationally. My health

has improved greatly, but I still have a sore throat. It is red at the

back of my throat. This is my conern. My digestion, energy and sleep

are all excellent. Any suggestions for my chronic sore throat are

appreciated. Thank you.

Dear Sister, I wonder if there may be an emotion backed up that needs to

be voiced. It may be impossible to say something negative, or painful,

which has been left unsaid. Even if it is alone into a pillow, you may

want let something out.Me thinks it is worth a medtiation or days of

feeling it out. Physically, I like to gargle a little lemon juice with

honey and slippery elm tea touched with the slightest pinch of cayenne. I

pray you find relief. all the best, Chamae
