Guest guest Posted October 10, 2006 Report Share Posted October 10, 2006 The ashram is west (not north) of Chaumundi Hill, on the west side of the road to Nanjangud. Unfortunately that puts it inside the low resolution part of the Google Earth map, and the low resolution map may be rather old, so I can't identify the location exactly by identifying the layout of ashram buildings. But it's about 12°16'50 N and 76°39'32 E. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. As I recall when I first tried Google Earth the area east of the ashram wasn't in high resolution. It will be neat when the whole area is high-res.
