Guest guest
ll HARE RAM ll Dear friends, There some guide lines are given in ESKANDA Purana about the plucking of Tulsi leafs. That are as follows. [1]Tulsi leafs should not pluck on Sunday,Tuesday and Friday. [2]Not even in Hindi Tithis as DWADSI,POORNIMA and AMAVASYA too. [3]Should not pluck mere each leaf only but pluck leafage including with upper limb of branch too. [4]Not even during the days of birth and death within the family too. [5]Astrologically not in VAIDHRATI & VAYATIPAT Yoga too. As Pooja / Worship of Lord Vishnu is treated as incomplete with out offering Tulsi. So to use the leafs of Tulsi fallen down on the floor can be used on aforesaid Days or Tithis.Ganga jal and Tulsi are not treated as stale. Therefore we can use Tulsi leafs plucked previous days.Women can pluck Tulsi leaf frequently except their prohibited days. Guest guest
Hi, Thank you so much for writing this timely article. Long, long time ago I used to live in SriDham Vrindavan. Those were the days when it was bliss bliss and bliss. Many times in life we do not appreciate what we have and when it's gone our soul never stops its cries.. Anyway I went to buy some pots of Basil from a large supermarket but could not get a single one. It seems whole of London is going to do this puja. Now which of my planet is blocking me? Take care.
