Guest guest
Dear Member: D1 chart marriage lord debilitated in Navamsa can mean some controversies in the marital life or incompatibility with the spouse. It can be one of the following: either the spouse will be of a lower caste (in modern times you can take it as social status), or of inferior qualities not compatible to the native, or there might be an abnormality in the age-difference between the partners, or the spouse might be intolerably modern in tastes in comparison to the native. This is only a general view I have expressed based on your query. The full chart has to be studied to understand the exact possibilities. Navamsa is a very important varga chart and as it is the main indicating varga for marriage, D1 marriage lord getting debilitated in Navamsa is not good. The remedy for this (debilitated mercury in Navamsa chart which is the D1 7th lord)is chanting the couplet starting from "Bhuta Bhavya Bhavan naathah....." ending with "Kaama....prabhuh" in Vishnu Sahasranaamam 11 times daily. Blessed be. Guest guest
Resp. Sh. Dakshinamurthy ji, If the 7L-Saturn (or any other planet) in D-1, happens to be placed in 12th house from D-9 Lagna, what does it mean. Does the same remedial measure work, or is there something different ? Thanks, Vijay Kumar - dakshinastrologer vedic astrology Thursday, October 05, 2006 4:16 PM [vedic astrology] Re: Deblitated Marriage Lord in Navamsa Dear Member: D1 chart marriage lord debilitated in Navamsa can mean some controversies in the marital life or incompatibility with the spouse. Guest guest
Dear King, Your question is of general nature. Many things are considered in marriage alliance , 7th lord is one of the important factor. It can be said if 7th lord is in debility in D-9( and is not in sign or bhava Vargottama as well as its debilitation is not cancelled in D-9 chart,) it will impair matrimonial happiness. Guest guest
Dear King , Shri Dakshinamoorthi has given excellent advice. However , the status of spouse should also be judged from planets placed in 7th houses of D-1 and D-9charts and up-pada (pada of 12th house). Guest guest
Dear Shri. Vijay Kumar: If D1 7th lord happens to be in the 12th house in D1 chart, that can be slightly detrimental to marital happiness. In D9 chart, the position of 7th house lord of the D9 chart is to be considered for getting clues about marital prospects. D9 chart is to be considered as if it is a natal chart and then studied to analyze marital prospects and matters concerning one's spouse. In D9 chart, we have to check the navamsa dispositor of the D1 7th lord (the lord of the navamsa sign in which the 7th lord is placed), and based on its qualities the nature and qualities of the spouse can be deciphered. If as you have mentioned, the D1 7th lord is in the 12th house with respect to navamsa lagna, the evil effects will not be as pronounced as in the case where D1 7th lord is in the 12th house in D1 chart itself. It only implies that there may be hidden concerns or hidden issues in marital life, the native's marriage may be secretive, or the native may marry a foreigner........ Any way, for most marital problems, the remedy I have suggested in the earlier post will help. However, depending on the planet concerned, the deity to be propitiated will differ. I had suggested the remedy when the 7th lord afflicted is Mercury. As the slokha is from Vishnu sahasranaama, the same remedy will help in the case of afflicted saturn being the 7th lord also. If Mars is afflicted, based on whether Mars is in male or female signs, the deity to be propitiated should be either Lord Skanda or Goddess Chandi. In general, navaaha paaraayanam of Sundara Kaandam is a panacea for all marriage related afflictions. It should be born in mind that the remedy should be continued with faith till the desired positive results manifest. If karmaas are very strong, it may require more than one cycle of recitation of the Holy classic. Most people tend to get disillusioned when they find that they do not get the desired results after just one round of recital. Though in many cases, even a single recital may help matters, there are some cases where the results may not manifest with just one performance of remedy......Patience, faith and persistence with the remedies are required till the results manifest in life. The same remedy should be persisted and continued with faith until the results manifest instead of doing too many remedies and getting disillusioned. I am writing this because I have had some queries in the past from some members who have claimed that they have done ALL remedies suggested by various astrologers and that they have got no results, and whether I can help.....My recommendation is, select a reasonably good astrologer/ pandit as your guide in these matters and then follow his/ her suggestions with complete faith instead of looking for suggestions from too many persons which may lead to confusion and disillusion. If you persist with the same astrologer for some time, they will be in a better position to judge how the results of the different planets manifest in the horoscope. Just as how you would have a family doctor it is better to have a family astrologer to guide the family in all matters related to remedies. Blessed be.
