Prosper.com (it takes most people 2-3 times to get it) It's not money-scam-spam.

Reprinted mostly from Amma Free Speech Zone:

Please understand, it takes effort to learn about the Prosper.com

thing: it's a completely new TYPE of business, just like when Ebay

and Paypal started out (word of mouth, hesitant first users).

In the pdf flyer and homepage it clearly states the group is set

to "100% shared" That means no money to me for on-time payers

within the group, and highest point reduction to members on the

group members' loans, especially since there's a higher discount for

the worse off credit score of the group leader (mine's the bottom of

a "B" right now).

Check out the flyer pdf in the Ammachi group and here's the link to

the direct homepage:

1. It's not money-scam-spam.

2. It's a bonafide venture for "seva and grace" for "professed

devotees".

I've only gotten a handful of nasty replies to the emailing I sent

out, which I thought was pretty clear, but people didn't even read

it and assume it's a business venture. (No Tom, you weren't right

about the ignorance level of official devotees!) ..... Anyone

wanting a copy let me know and I'll send you what they got.

The nastiest one hurt me deeply, not because of the intense anger

and child-like threats of being reported, but because: It was a

devotee I had chanted the 1000 names of Devi with on that fateful

New Year's Eve satsang a few year's ago, and she's now very angry in

general, having left Amma. I'm meeting more and more lost souls,

who've fallen away from Amma and spirituality and it really saddens

me.

It's always for the common man I work for, which is why I'm sticking

it out with the Prosper.com group. I know it'll take time to build

adequate membership and awareness, with more obstacles of ignorance,

but I have full faith that it'll be of service in the future.

There's a time to give, and a time to lend.

I've mailed a photocopy of the Esquire Magazine article to MA Center

because it better explains the site, but for some reason doesn't

really mention groups.
