Dear Friends

Just deleted a message that came in from one of our newer members

however I thought some of the issues in the message needed to be

addressed as every once in awhile these same types of questions are

directed to group site and there really is no need to call attention

to the new group member who asked them.........as you read some of

this it will be evident that there will be same information that has

been repeated from past

Question was asked if a list of Rudraksha Sellers could be posted on

the group site who sold Rudraksha........answer would have been why

not go to internet and place word Rudraksha in search area.....the

result would be in the thousands........difficulty here is there are

so many who sell which one does one choose.......another answer

would be to go to our Rudra Center Website and click on Distributor

Section and there will be found other Rudraksha Sellers

Internationaly

another question that was asked.......... and that I had never heard

before was does anyone know the average price of

Rudraksha..........since there are so many different Mukhis and so

many different wholesale and retail outlets with different costs of

doing business due to different supply lines this is almost an

impossible task to come up with an average price

As we have seen a lot depends on authenticity and quality of each

individual Rudraksha Beads and a lot depends on supply and demand

and trying to get the nepal beads past the Maoists Guerillas in

Nepal who exact payments for their cause in the Bhandars

there......The Maoist Guerillas in Nepal control most all the

Bhandars there and if someone is doing business in Nepal they have

to pay for that..............another example of strange priceing is

the internet company in UK that is online as astrologymantra.com and

sells the round 5 Mukhi Nepal Rudraksha for about $100 the last time

I looked at their site

Since our Rudra Center home office in Mumbai sells the same Bead for

$1 with Blessings from Hindu Temple in name of client the average

price if compareing only these two would be $50 each for 5 Mukhi and

this is rediculous to even consider

When I asked astrologymantra.com whey the dramatic increase in price

their answer was that their Blessings Ceremony that created the

extra Blessings from God were better than others so therefore a bead

that retails for about US $1 in India is retailed for $100 at

astrologymantra.com in UK.........I mentioned to them that Blessings

from God were understood to be unconditional and that there really

was not one Blessing that was better than another when Almighty Gods

Blessings were concerned.........if you are Blessed.......then you

are simply Blessed and that should be enough.......they had no

answer for my comment

another question asked was why the different prices and high prices

from internet companies as it is much more less expensive to operate

an internet company than a storefront......this question only shows

the individual asking the question doesnt have an education in the

cost of internet advertiseing or webbuilding or changeing webpages

on a regular basis or employing artisan families to build the Mala

designs so they can have a better standard of liveing gained from

their daily work efforts........... or cost of advertiseing in

newspapers internatinaly so that Hindu Families in other countries

are able to find the best Holy Items from home even though they are

NRI liveing in other countries

and then the question that I have not heard of in a really long time

was an original........ why are Holy Items sold at

all.........should they not be without a price tag and certainly not

some of the extreme prices seen on the internet

Answer would be that times have changed since the Holy Books were

written for a nation of people concentrated mainly on one

contenent....and yet times have not changed all that much

In the old days traveling Gurus would exchange Knowledge and Holy

Items like Rudraksha Beads for a nights stay at a village along his

path....today is mostly the same.....with a couple of exceptions

Hindu Holy Items originate mostly in India and Himalayas and when a

community of Hindus in the US or the UK would like to have these

Holy Items of choice for worship....... then a system has to be set

up so that the people who collect the Holy Items are fed each day

and clothed each day so they can spend their day arrangeing to

collect and send Holy Items to their country men and women around

the world........this is called service to the mankind and womankind

in the Spiritual Sense adn in the Material World is called cost of

doing business in the business world

It costs money to keep the collector families alive each day so they

can provide the items that are being ordered by freinds and

relatives and their friends all over the world until the time comes

when all of a sudden a family is known for collecting a specific

Holy Item........... and then it becomes a 24 hour 7 day a week job

trying to keep up with supply and demand.....this is a form of

Bhakti and it has a price for all parties......one of the prices

paid is effort and the one of the prices paid is money

The Internet really helped with this entire process of demand and

supply as now we are truly a world community however the question of

why Holy Items cost money and why arent they free is kind of a mute

point

If anyone looks around in their community they will see that one of

the main issues of Life is to learn to balance the material world

with the Spiritual world so that both can be enjoyed.......this is

implied plainly in Dharma Artha Kama and Moksha

Sometimes it takes some persons a long time to understand that to

get what they want they have to make specific arrangements to pay

the price whether that means a trek to the Arun Valley in Nepal from

the UK or the US to obtain the Rudraksha Beads of their choice

directly from the collector families.......or a trip to the Narmada

River to obtain the Linga of choice........only difficlty with this

is that its about a US $1000 plane fare to India or nepal and then

the expenses of travel to the Holy Sites to obtain a Holy Item that

is available from Rudra Centers website at a fraction of the cost

So general answer here for this question is that a person born into

this world has to learn to manage their income at the same time as

they are learning to manage their Spiritual Path............and it

simply seems a lot easier and less expensive to buy Holy Items

needed in the most intelligent manner possible......in todays world

this is accomplished through internet websites and fedex shipping to

countries in world where items were ordered from........to set up a

system so that all can have what they are needing and this takes

money in this age to accomplish this task

Always wonder why some people ask these kind of questions about the

cost of Holy Items however dont have any questions or difficulty

with paying the companies who ship the Holy Items like fedex and ups

worldwide

So will keep this message short as the topics raised by our new

memeber could be book length......hope this helps explain cost of

doing business...demand and supply..........international

need......supporting others for their work......and the concept not

discussed......... of not owning the money earned from sales of Holy

Items......no body owns any of he money they earn.....the money is

always passed on to others so they can improve their standard of

liveing and quality of life......thats just the way the world

is..........Rudra Center is always most appreciative of the

purchases from our many clients as the money goes to supporting

Indian and Nepalese Families to make their lives better and the

other reward is to see that the Holy Items are placed in the care of

all those who request them worldwide

hope this helps

Wishing all the Best

Rudra Center India and America
