No amount of animal sacrifice. bloodletting , hunting and sitting on some dead animal skin will get you closer to direct experience. Better to sit in a cemetary and meditate behind the 10th gate your third eye with sincere devotion. When you have direct experience no matter how short the linear time of that experience you will be certain that the never ending Light and love of God does not expect nor deem it necessary to sit on an animal skin, devour animals,or anything of a nature which is anything other than compassion for all sentient beings and yourself for that matter. it is sheer arrogance and delusion to think otherwise. This world this physical plane we must live in , on for whatever duration our karmas are is so frought with unimaginable horrors and cruelty why add to it or your own karma for that matter?If i am pressing the point, well i am . I am so very tired of excuses for hurting other souls in this evolution to enlightenment all life has. As in the Dalai Lama claiming his dr. said he has to eat meat. or in nyc now the new fad is its ok to eat meat if the animals have been raised naturally instead of in a box so they had a nice life until they were led to slaughter. its all the same thing isnt it? sur e lets go hunt some deer and sit on their skins im sure ill have a better meditation knowing im sitting on the death and suffering . very cool Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
