Guest guest
Dear friends, I'm thinking about buying a house and I need some help and advice. Many of you have my birth details--but I'm including them again, just in case: Balaji Narasimhan; 14 March 1973; 02:14 PM IST; Mumbai/Bombay, India [18n58, 72e50]; Mituna Lagna Currently running Bu-Gu-Sk; Budha owns 4th, Guru owns 4th from 4th, and Sukra is conjunct 4th lord. Right now, Bhumi Karaka Kuja, Budha and Sukra are in the 4th--maybe, this transit has given me the desire to buy a house? Let me set the ball rolling with a rudimentary analysis: Negatives: * 4th lord Budha is Vakra, approaching neechatva, and combust. * 4th aspected by Surya, who owns the 12th from the 4th. * Bhumi Karaka Kuja afflicted by Rahu. * Gochara Ketu, who signifies obstructions, occupies 4th. Positives: * Lord of the 2nd in the 2nd should enable me to clear bank loans easily, especially since it recieves the aspect of 9th lord Sani. * 9th lord Sani aspects 9th, which should give me luck. * Gochara Guru will move inth the benefic 5th in end-Oct, which is positive. * Gochara Sani moves out of Janma Rasi in end-Oct. * 4th lord fortified by association with 5th and 9th lords in Rasi, and occupies own house in Navamsa. * 9th lord Rahu (owner of Kumba) conjunct Kuja, who rules the 11th house of desires and fulfilment. Personally, I see more positives than negatives--but, I wonder, is the desire to own a house clouding my judgement? ~~~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan Author & Editor http://www.balaji.ind.in/ ~~~~~~~~~
Guest guest
Dear Balaji, As you say, you are running Budha-Guru-Sukra period. Budha is the 4th lord, Guru aspects 4th house and Sukra is conjunct with 4th lord. This gives a very favourable combination of acquiring real estate. However, as yourself have noted Budha is combust. He is combust severely! And, in addition, Sukra is also combust marginally. It is interesting to note that Ravi who causes combustion and thereby acquires some traits of Budha also aspects the 4th. This appears to be a big positive. I feel that it is not a bad time to go ahead. However, I strongly recommend you to seek your mother's opinion/support before going ahead. Guest guest
Dear Balaji, Wait till November 2006, if you can. Mercury/Saturn would see that you own a house. Could be inherited one from your father. In my view Jupiter AD is not so favourable. Regards, C.S. Ravindramani.
Guest guest
*** Krishnamurthy ji, ///I feel that it is not a bad time to go ahead. However, I strongly recommend you to seek your mother's opinion/support before going ahead./// Thank you! My mother is most supportive, and feels that I should go ahead. *** Ravindramani ji, ///Wait till November 2006, if you can. Mercury/Saturn would see that you own a house. Could be inherited one from your father. In my view Jupiter AD is not so favourable./// You mean Nov 2007, right--Budha/Sani starts only then. Regarding inherited house from dad--my father already owns a house. I just thought that I should get another house, so that, when I retire one day, I can stay in one house, rent out the other and survive on that money. If I acquire a house in Guru's Antar, will I run into major problems? I mean, if I get a good opportunity before Budha/Sani, should I outright refuse to buy that house? *** Wendy ji, If possible, could I get your views on this too, please? ~~~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan Author & Editor http://www.balaji.ind.in/ ~~~~~~~~~
Guest guest
Dear bala your 4th house is aspected by debility cancelled Jupiter who is unfortunately 6th in shadbala. Sun the 3rd lord, who is strongest in shadbala, aspects. Since the 3rd is 12th from 4th his aspect on 4th, considering his already malefic nature, may not be good. Mercury the 4th lord also aspects which is favourable. But Mercury is 3rd in shadbala, having 4 unfavourable vergas (dasaverga scheme) and is cuspally positioned. Mercury may not be in a position to help much. Saturn is the natural significator of land and he figures last in shadbala but has 4 favourable vergas. Dr.B.V.Raman in his "Catechism of Astrology" says shadbala measure of strength should be used in favour of verga scheme to measure strength. Venus the natural significator of residential house is 4th in shadbala but placed well in the 9th in best friend's house. This combination may suggest a residential flat as against a single house with land. If one considers the 4th house from the moon we find that there are no occupants in the 4th and the 4th lord venus is placed in the 4th with the aspect of the 8th lord saturn. Remedial measures for mercury, saturn and venus followed by a search for modest residential flats may yield positive results. regards arun

Guest guest
Dear Mr. Balaji, I talked of November 2006 only - repeat - November 2006. As per Jaimini till November 2006 is not so good period for you. Jupiter AD may land you in some financial troubles/obstacles. Jupiter is in 8th (Capricorn). 8th Lord Saturn and Jupiter from 8th aspects your 2nd house of finance. >From the Moon, Jupiter is 6th lord and Saturn is 8th Lord. Regards, C.S. Guest guest
Ravindramani ji, ///I talked of November 2006 only - repeat - November 2006./// Cool! :-) My job appraisals are coming up in Dec/Jan. Actually, I thought I would wait until then--because, once my salary goes up, my ability to get a better loan also goes up. ~~~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan Author & Editor http://www.balaji.ind.in/ ~~~~~~~~~
