Guest guest
Pranam, I am 52 year old male - relatively in good health. My problem is, I have put on some weight over the last 2 years - about 20 Kg over-weight (for my 6' height). Most of the new weight is sitting around my abdomin. I eat moderately. Is there any help in Ayurveda for me? Thank You!
Guest guest
Ayurveda does not usually go into the quantity of the tissue, but is more about the quality of the tissue… but in Yoga {the sister of Ayurveda} there is an old remedy… they say for there to health anywhere in the body, you must pump blood into this area… I would imagine this is also true for weight loss… I use to work with a body builder who would say he was going to take of 30 lb. in the next 3 months, and do…he use to do this every year… gain 30 Ib. in the winter and turn around and lose it in the summer… he called it bulking up! Turning the fat into muscle. He would always use the 40 30 30 plan…. That seems to be the best system I have ever seen… You can research about it on the web…. Good luck … Noel … > I am 52 year old male - relatively in good health. > > My problem is, I have put on some weight over the last 2 years - about > 20 Kg over-weight (for my 6' height).
