Sound Like Someone we know? And here we were thinking they were called Scholars!!! However their actions confirm them to be Iconoclasts who just happen to have degreees.

Iconoclast: 1. A breaker or destroyer of images esp. those set up for religious veberation.

2. One who attacks cherished beliefs, traditional institutions etc. as being based on error or superstition.
