Guest guest
Om Amriteswari Namah Ammachi, please guide and bless us as we open our hearts to the teaching of the Sri Guru Gita. Divine Mother, stand with us, as we grow in our Selves and as we continue to open our hearts and our minds to your Love and Light. Amma, show us how to share your inspiration and your Love for us with the World. We dedicate our study today to Peace on this Earth, and to healing the hearts of humankind. Guru Gita Study Session 17 Verse 79. The Lord Said: If Shiva is angry, the Guru will protect you; but if the Guru is angry, no one can save you. Therefore, with all your efforts, take refuge in Him. Verse 80. The Guru is, indeed the whole universe. She comprises Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva in Her Being. There is nothing higher than the Guru. Worship the Guru devotedly. Verse 81 By devotion to the Guru, one obtains knowledge as well as realization. There is nothing higher than the Guru. Therefore, the devotees of the Guru should meditate on Him. Verse 82. Continually serve the Guru with mind and speech. There is nothing greater than Him. The Vedas describe Him as ‘not this, not this.’ (Neti netti) Verse 83. Even Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva acquired their cosmic potencies by the Guru’s Grace. The state of final Aloneness is attained only through service to the Guru. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Om Lokah samastah sukino bhavantu Lokah samastah sukino bhavantu Lokah samastah sukino bhavantu Om santih, santih, santih Om sri gurubhyo namah hari om ~Om, may all beings in all the worlds be happy.
