Guest guest
Dear Shiva jee Thank you for writing to us, Rudraksha has its etymological origin in the Sanskrit words, `Rudra' and `Aksha'. `Rudra' is another name for Lord Shiva, and `aksha' means teardrop. Mythological tales have it that the Rudraksha plant was born out of Lord Shiva's tear drops. Ancient scriptures, such as `Shiva Purana', `Padma Purana' and `Srimad Bhagavad' mention the greatness and wonderful powers of the Rudraksha. For thousands of years, they have adorned the bodies of sages and saints leading a fearless life in far-flung frontiers seeking enlightenment and liberation. There are different varieties of Rudraksh available in the world divided based on the grooves in the Rudraksh like Pachamuga (5 faces), Gowri shankar (2 face), eka muga (1 face) etc. Each one has its own individual capabilities when it is being worn by any person. Rudraksh has the capabilities of holding the energy of the person who is wearing it, unlike Spadika (which has only cooling effect on the body) or anything other. 9 mukhi rudraksha: is the form of the Goddess Durga (Shakti). It contains the power of Nine Deities. The worshippers of the supreme power Shakti must wear this Rudraksha. All the Rudraksha are the symbol of Lord Shiva but nine faced Rudraksha contains special nine qualities. It increases self-power. It makes us concentrate our mind and it also creates the belief that as by hiding the head into the lap of mother, all the fears of a child finish, similarity its wearer becomes fearless. The blessings of the Mother remain with him who always wears it. Nine faced Rudraksha gives the wearer both devotion and salvation. When invoked, the mother Goddess blesses the wearer with lot of energy, powers, Dynamism and fearlessness, which are useful to live a life of success. Gives Bhoga and Moksha. Its ruling planet is Ketu. 11 Mukhi Rudraksha : is regarded as the light mass of Lord Rudra Shiva (Eleven Rudras). For the devotees of Lord Shiva it is the most effective and most successful Rudraksha. There are eleven Rudras and the eleventh Rudra is Lord Hanuman and taking his name ghosts and evil spirits run away. He is full of learning, virtues, cleverness and wisdom. Therefore, all these virtues are filled in the man who wears this eleven faced rudraksha. It makes the wearer strong, wise, healthy and without disease. This Rudraksha is the symbol of Indra, the king of Gods. It gives the wearer permanent happiness. It means that pleasure and happiness come to the man who worships Indra and makes him happy. It relieves the wearer from the fear of sudden death. It induces courage and confidence in the wearer to lead an adventurous life. It also helps in practicing meditation and religious rituals and removes the problems of yogic practices If the bead has not been purified, sanctified and energized, it is of no use. What can make the Rudraksha even more powerful and effective is the power invested in it through prayers, through purification and energisation and through the ongoing process of retaining its sanctity. Utmost care and certain precautions should be observed in order to get the maximum benefit from it and maintain its sanctity. Before wearing the Rudraksha for the first time, it should be blessed and sanctified by chanting the mantra associated with it and performing the right prayers and rituals. I hope above article was helpful, please write to us for further query, I request Sri Arjun jee to throw some light. Guest guest
dear shiv bhakts om namo bhagawate rudraya complimenting prasannaji for this information, i wish to supplement specifically on the 9th and 11th mukh rudrakshas. even though various puranas, vedas and upanishads explain various benefits of each rudraksha, i reckon shivapurana as the last word and hence give below what it advises: bhairavo navavaktrascha kapilascha munih smruti: durga va tdadhishtatri navarupa maheswari. tam gharayot vamahastate rudraksham bhaktitatpara: sarveshvaro bhavennunam mama tulyo na samshaya: the nine mukh rudraksha represents bhairava and kapila muni. the ruling diety of this rudraksha is navadurga or maheswari. the person who wears with devotion on his left arm becomes as powerful as sarveshvara himself. ekadasamukho yastu rudraksh parameswari, sa rudro dharayatasya sarvatra vijayee bhavet. the person who wears an eleven mukh rudraksha becomes lord rudra himself and wins everywhere. however, three years ago when several people lamented that they bought the holy rudraksha but are not getting any benefits as mentioned in the holy scriptures, i started offering these value added services to all discerning devotees like purification, sanctification, energisation and programming. any shiv bhakt wearing a rudraksha is advised to get this process done before wearing without which the native not only does not get any benefit out of it but remain in hell for one full kalpam, as mentioned in the shivapuran. with best wishes and blessings Pandit Arjun (Healer, Astrologer) 4B, Sai Sanjivini Apartments Street # 3, Walker Town, Secunderabad-500025 Mobile # 9948892439 , "prasanna kumar" <groupowner.prasanna wrote: > > > Dear Shiva jee > > Thank you for writing to us, Rudraksha has its etymological origin in > the Sanskrit words, `Rudra' and `Aksha'. `Rudra' > is another name for Lord Shiva, and `aksha' means teardrop. > Mythological tales have it that the Rudraksha plant was born out of Lord > Shiva's tear drops. Guest guest
Hari Om! Hari Om Tat Sat! Dear All and respected Shri Arjunji: The Rudraksha is holy and is already having energy. All rudrakshas have the same power of Shri Rudra. How can a man purify Rudra-ka-aaksha? How can a soul energize the holy Rudraksha? All these scared holy items are already blessed by HIM. Without HIS grace none hears what Rudraksha are, nor wears it. In my humble opinion, wearing Rudraksha will never land any soul in hell, for the hell will be purified by that instant act. Even Shri Deva Indra will find HELL beautiful than heaven. In my opinion, even if a jiva whether he/she believes in Rudra or HIS aaksha, the Rudraksha will only do good to the soul. The Rudraksha will emit the properties of Shri Rudra and HE is the most most most kind, noble caring super soul imho. Subham Dinam Astu! Guest guest
dear shiv bhakt pradeepji om namo bhagawate rudraya your rational observations are valid and a person wearing the holy rudraksha without the energisation with the mantra, may not end up landing in the hell since most of the people who wear rudraksha have not done this. but since the shivapuran gives such a warning it is better if a shivbhakt strives to get this procedure done as per the scriptures. same is the case with gems because garuda puran mentions that if a person wears flawed gems, they will give bad luck. in reality most of the stones sold everywhere are flawed and a genuine flawless gem of any category costs several thousand rupees per carat. whether to take a holistic approach or follow as per scriptures is left to the freewill of each shivbhakt and whatever i wrote is not compelling but only suggestive. each shivbhakt is at liberty to do as he feels deem fit, but what i observed is purely based on the shivapuran. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun , "Pradeep Balakrishnan" <balakrishnanpradeep wrote: > > Hari Om! Guest guest
Sh.Mahadevadvaita, You are perfectly right Sir, *"Satyam Jnam Anantam Brahma"* This is the ultimate phylosophy and has full of truth in it. If one believes in its completeness, Bhrahman is seen in every object. It is believed that one who sees Para Brahman in ones "Dhaharakaasa" is self realised and is the first step to reach the ultimate that is "Solvetion or Liberation" and be away from the vicious circle of birth and death. But everyone cannot reach this state at one go. As a general principle or philosophy, it is promulgated to Choose a God/Goddess of ones choice to start with. The practice of meditation starts from then and will reach on one day to the state what was described by you. For all these things faith and belief are the tools. OM namah shivaya. Guest guest
Namastey Umeshji: We must respect both purush and prakriti. So nobody is apavitra. menses is only a biological product. Soem had told me not to wear rudraksha when you are eating meat. I think wearing in public transport is okay because in essence all are NARAYAN themselves travelling with you. I would not worry about who is pure or not. For we cannot see the heart of anyone. But this much is sure that SHIVA is in each of us. So i would recoomend you to wear it most of the time. I only take it off when I go to the bathroom, sleep or take a shower. I am not an expert or any punditzi this is just an opinion of a average person Om nama shivaya Nirmal umeshkhnn <umeshkhnn (AT) (DOT) co.in> wrote: Namaste to all I would like to know if one wears a purified and blessed rudraksh what will happen if one comes in contact with a woman who has her menses, I am from mumbai and have to travel using public transport so although I have rudraksh malas I keep them at home in my puja place fearing that they might become apavitra if I come in contact with a woman who has her menses I hope that all the learned people will be able to clarify my doubts Thanking everyone in advance Umesh , "panditarjun2004" <panditarjun2004 wrote: > > dear shiv bhakt anilji > om namo bhagawate rudraya > > i am supplying the genuine nepalese rudraksha after purification, > sanctification, enrgisation and programming. however, i request you > and other discerning shivbhakts desirous of procuring rudraksha to > contact on my personal details and not in the group. > > with best wishes and blessings > > Pandit Arjun (Healer, Astrologer) > 4B, Sai Sanjivini Apartments > Street # 3, Walker Town, Secunderabad-500025 > Mobile # 9948892439 > > , "anil" > <anilraj10@> wrote: > > > > TO THE SHIVBHAKTS - OM NAMAH SHIVAYA NAMAH OM > > I READ THE INFORMATION AND WANT TO KNOW ABOUT RUDRAKSH. Guest guest
Namaste, there is something that i wanted to ask for a very long time. why does our religion treat mensturating women like untouchables? i do understand that the main idea is to let her have lots of rest during the menstrual cycle days. but why keep her away from temples and gods? i heard that a woman becomes particularly susceptible to evil energies and spirits when she is mensturating. so, that's when she needs Gods the most. what's the big point in keeping her as far away from Him/Her as possible just when she requires all the protection that she could ever get? could someone please enlighten me on this irony? -Sindhu Nirmal Sharma <ghimirenirmal > wrote: Namastey Umeshji: We must respect both purush and prakriti. Guest guest
Modern Era is in pursuit of "comfortable living" - for that "all faiths & beliefs connected with Vedit rituals are being sacrificed & questioned. I think it is not good. Reasoning on materialistic aspects is OK but Dhaarmic principles as told must be followed in right earnest unquestioningly -any explanation will not satisfy the modern sadhak but leads to arguements & confusion. I am not advocating "blind faith" but have the patience & faith to do homework yourself. My understanding is women during mensturation are considered "asuchi" -its not equal to untouchable. The woman can still do silent prayers without entering temple - GOD everywhere & surely he will protect her- Please remember GOD will protect everyone irrespective of whether you pray or not. we bathe applying "xyz..." to become presentable & happy. Same way we do bathe idols of worship with water, milk etc. -even offer chandan, agar etc. with appropriate mantras -process to purify -all in faith. Kindly think over in these lines & do not label as "orthodoxic" etc. -it is said this way of doing pleases GODs an we will be blessed. This is my opinion. I am not a pandit - so I wrote lengthy explanation- for which I may be pardoned. Guest guest
dear shivbhakt nirmal om namo bhagawate rudraya in shivapuran lord shiva has recommended one to fourteen mukh rudraksha with each rudraksha giving a specific result. the mantra for the 14mukh rudraksha is "OM NAMAHA". as per shivapuran, the 14mukh rudraksha shall be treated as parama shiva and the wearer will get all his sins erased. as per devi bhagavatam, the 14mukh rudraksha destroys all diseases and gives eternal health. in my experience i observed that this 14mukh rudraksha has the power to remove the doshams and shapams a native got from the previous birth. i have a wide range of 14mukh rudraksha made available to discerning devotees with the smaller beads measuring 20mm in length and the large collector beads measuring up to 40mm. devotees interested in getting this rudraksha from me after due purification, sanctification, energisation and programming can contact me on my personal details. with best wishes and blessings Pandit Arjun 4B, Saisanjivini Apartments Street # 3, Walker Town Padmaraonagar, Secunderabad-500025 Mobile # 9948892439 , Nirmal Sharma <ghimirenirmal wrote: > > > Om nama shiva: > > What is the mantra for 14 mukhi rudraksha? > What is the signficance and benefites of this rudraksha ? > > How will it be most effective. > > with regards > Nirmal > > > > anil <anil_bindal2000 wrote: > is all not Shiva..then why so much clinging to a mere representation > of tears of shiva ? > > belief in rudraksha or something else..what is the difference ? > > aum > divyesh ( name given by my Gutu after Full diksha ) > > , "KS Rao" > <kasturisrao@> wrote: > > > > Sh.Umesh, > > > > Any thing that is added to fire will get burnt and purified and > nothing will > > happen to the fire. > > Belief is an important tool in all spiriritual matters. > > > > AUM namah Shivaya > > > > > > On 10/5/06, umeshkhnn <umeshkhnn@> wrote: > > > > > > Namaste to all > > > I would like to know if one wears a purified and blessed rudraksh > > > what will happen if one comes in contact with a woman who has her > > > menses, I am from mumbai and have to travel using public transport > > > so although I have rudraksh malas I keep them at home in my puja > > > place fearing that they might become apavitra if I come in contact > > > with a woman who has her menses > > > > > > I hope that all the learned people will be able to clarify my > doubts > > > > > > Thanking everyone in advance > > > Umesh > > > > > > > <% > 40>, > > > "panditarjun2004" > > > <panditarjun2004@> wrote: > > > > > > > > dear shiv bhakt anilji > > > > om namo bhagawate rudraya > > > > > > > > i am supplying the genuine nepalese rudraksha after > purification, > > > > sanctification, enrgisation and programming. however, i request > > > you > > > > and other discerning shivbhakts desirous of procuring rudraksha > to > > > > contact on my personal details and not in the group. > > > > > > > > with best wishes and blessings > > > > > > > > Pandit Arjun (Healer, Astrologer) > > > > 4B, Sai Sanjivini Apartments > > > > Street # 3, Walker Town, Secunderabad-500025 > > > > Mobile # 9948892439 > > > > > > > > > <% > 40>, > > > "anil" > > > > <anilraj10@> wrote: > > > > > > > > > > TO THE SHIVBHAKTS - OM NAMAH SHIVAYA NAMAH OM > > > > > I READ THE INFORMATION AND WANT TO KNOW ABOUT RUDRAKSH. Guest guest
Dear Ms. Sindhu Madhusudan, Thank you very much for your posing on this important subject. Mensuration period in ladies is a natural process. As you have rightly mentioned, a lady requires rest during this period. The rules were made for the same reason. However, it is riduculous that many people make unnecessary issues out ot it. Personally I feel that it is not correct that a woman is susceptible to evil energies during this period. If so, then it is important that she should be allowed to do her daily rituals of Sadhana to protect her from such evil spirits during the period. Rules regarding mensuration and also untouchability for low caste people is all nonsense. I was told that in the Sikh religion, there are no such rules and ladies are allowed to go to Gurudwara for darshan. Also in Islam and Christians, there are no such rules. Thanking you and with best wishes, Chandrashekhar Phadke sindhu madhusudan <innereyeopens > wrote: Namaste, there is something that i wanted to ask for a very long time. why does our religion treat mensturating women like untouchables? i do understand that the main idea is to let her have lots of rest during the menstrual cycle days. but why keep her away from temples and gods? i heard that a woman becomes particularly susceptible to evil energies and spirits when she is mensturating. so, that's when she needs Gods the most. what's the big point in keeping her as far away from Him/Her as possible just when she requires all the protection that she could ever get? could someone please enlighten me on this irony? -Sindhu Nirmal Sharma <ghimirenirmal > wrote: Namastey Umeshji: We must respect both purush and prakriti.
