It is near Karur in the Bangalore route from Salem.Bus route is really good.. Roads are really good to travel by own vehicle too. Here it was said that Hanumar started growing but under the thumb Rama arrested the growth.

Namakkal Sri ANJANEYAR temple is in The Namakkal Town, right on the Salem - Trichy route.It is abt 60 KM from Salem. Darsan of Sri Anjaneya can be had at all times during the day, as the Moorthy can be seen from the entrance itself and is not kept inside any closed Garba Gruham.

Also there is a very ancient Lord Narasinmha Temple with Sri Namagiri Thayaar. It is a temple carved out of a rocky hill.The temple is open from 7 am to 12 noon & 5 pm to 8 pm.

One can easily reach Namakkal from Salem by bus which are very frequent and it takes abt an hour & a half to reach Namakkal.
