One Who blessed viShNu with the disc! In the lasting thillai, having the thiruchiRRambalam, where the vedins rejoice, as the place One Who is capable of practicing dance, Him, say, "May years!" Notes: 1. Sage upamanyu is the son of vyAgrapAda. vyAgrapAda was involved totally in the service of Lord naTarAja. Young child upamanyu cried for milk. God brought an ocean of milk itself for him. This sage initiated kriShNa into worship of Lord shiva (dIksha). This is explained in mahabhArata. periyapurANam also narrates the stories of 63 saints as the words of sage upamanyu. 2. mahAviShNu got his weapon of disc offering his eye itself as a flower.
