Guest guest
Learned Members, The conjunction of Sun and Mercury is said to give rise to Budhaaditya or Nipuna yoga. But Mercury will often be combust in such a conjunction. Does the combustion of Mercury affect the efficacy of the yoga? If so, to what degree? Guest guest
dear friend raja the budh aditya yoga occurs due to the conjunction of mercury and sun in any house in a native's lagna chart. any planet becomes combust if it is within 10 degrees of the sun. if mercury is within 5 degrees of sun, then there is no budh aditya yoga at all. if mercury is between 5 to 10 degrees of sun there is little chance. if mercury is above 10 degrees from sun, there is this budh aditya yoga. however, in my experience, i observed this yoga giving its expected positive results only when this conjunction happens in a kendra (quadrant) or trikona (trine) i.e. 1,4,5,7,9,10 houses. some say that the functional roles of sun and mercury shall not be negative but in my experience i found this yoga giving positive results if it occurrs in a kendra or trikona, notwithstanding the functional owernship of sun and mercury i.e. even if they are functional malefics. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun vedic astrology, "Raja Perry" <tvdasan wrote: > > Learned Members, > > The conjunction of Sun and Mercury is said to give rise to Budhaaditya > or Nipuna yoga. Guest guest
I looked this up as I have this yog. If the difference in the degrees between SU and ME is less than one degres, only then it is the right yog and makes an excellent mind. Otherwise Mercury gets combust and the effect is weakened probably its not the same yog anymore. Hope this is right. Guest guest
Dear Friends, When Mercury is within 16 min. orb from sun than it is termed as in Cazmi. Such combination gives very powerful results. If Mercury is in deep combustion than Nipun yoga is not very effective. If Mercury is retrograde , this generate excellent yoga ,but results are felt with some delay. As , when Mercury is retrograde than it is not only very near to earth but also in between Sun and Earth and may not be considered as combust. According to Hora SARA of Prithuyasas son of Varaha Mihira ,Sun and Mercury combination in 1st, 4th and 8th houses generate raj and nipun yoga of par-excellence. Mercury is considered combust when with in 14 deg. of Sun and is direct. It is in deep cumbution when with in 4deg. of Sun. Guest guest
To what purpose is this Yoga you refer to? One thing is certain, if the Yoga is for the purpose of the truth no allignment of heavenly bodies or any such material quantity shall have an effect on the sincere seeker.
