Guest guest
Om Sri gurave Namah! Dear Raghunath Rao garu, Namaskar Even I liked the question :-)), and I can understand your interest in astrology and your curiosity, but I am still waiting for your astro-logic for your conclusion but please that is a different topic. Regarding Kal Sarpa Yoga, sometime back one very learned astrologer (couple of years back) after seeing my daughters horoscope, commented that she has Kal Sarpa dosha, and he said he has complete set up in india for conducting pujas, homas etc. and it would cost me 1500$. well I did pay him 20$, and since then I have been searching answers to that problem, what ever source I could get information from. Since the sole purpose of this forum is to discuss a issue in its right spirit, I have been presenting data for general discussion, and Kal sarpa Yoga is one of them, Mr Raghunath jee, If I depend on just one person for my conclusion, The first astrologer himself is a good source, because he supported it blindly and tries to make money out of it, but for me it is information needed. so I need to wait for responses from many sources, so I simply wait, once I am sure that I will not get any replies, I do present the answer of the query, e.g. Astroresearch no 1,2,2b etc. But to my utter surprise I have seen that people learned or learning both avoid issues which are difficult to explain because no guru had taught them or no written text is available to back their discussion. Like, after almost two months of discussion, last week I posted the summary of this issue (Kal Sarpa Yoga) and again I received ONLY ONE, just one reply from Shri S Krishna jee, for which I am thankful, but only only person is interested in Kal Sarpa Yoga, I did not create the whole thing myself, I have searched every nook and corner of the internet and other sources for information, since nothing was comming from this forum other than referring some books or articles, nothing in terms of data, I tried to present it, the best I could. but just one response to such a issue. I remember one joke or real event about Picasso, he posted one of his paintings in an exhibition and placed a piece of paper next to it , The paper read " Please let me know your opinion about this painting", and he left, the next day he returned and he found heap of comments, and after reading all those comments, he could only conclude that his painting was useless. so he places another paper next to the same painting with heading " Please no comments with out suggestions to improve or rectify the defect". Next day he finds his paper completely blank!!!! :-) So let us go back to Kal Sarpa Yoga, before someone asks me from where you got this information or that information, I would like to know their opinion about Kal Sarpa yoga, its origin, its propagation, its manipulation, its importance in todays world, and why? ofcourse what is wrong with these remedies, though they are not from classics. I did not create them either, they have popped up same way Kal Sarpa yoga did!, and for your kind information I do not have any website to attract people so that I can charge money for something which has no basis.( Kal Sarpa Yoga). So please before jumping to conclusions and pointing a finger at someone, check what was your contribution till now in this discussion. Thanks for the question, I would like to see some more such questions so that we can actually get to the rock bottom for my benefit and for the greater benefit of Vedic Astrology. :-) Om Namah Shivai!! Guest guest
Om Krishna Guru Namaste Suri Ji, Thanks for the note. Honestly I have no interest or time to point any finger(s) to you at all. I have learnt about Kaala Sarpa Yoga or Kaala Amrita Yoga from our SJC teachings few years ago. I have also wrote about this few years ago and you can refer my old notes on this topic below. So people like you come now and then, and they do not have any time to read our archives and ask the same questions, if I have some free time I write it, otherwise not. So answerking to your question, I have already contrinuted to this topic few years ago and you can read about that from the following links. vedic astrology/message/39766 vedic astrology/message/70214 Next, I have already given my thought on your quesiton of a native's marital status as "un-married" and I wanted to confirm whether that is the case or not, so that I can fine tune my new learning accordingly. But your continued delay in replying to my request had taken away the interst to get the reply from you regarding this. So I am not bothered to look for you to get the answer anymore on this. Now coming back to the original question of Visti Ji, what is the source of your list of Remdies for the Kala Sarpa Yoga, so that we know the source. Guest guest
Om Sri gurave Namah! Dear Raghunatha jee, namaskar, As your name suggests, you are telugu, there is a very good "samita", in telugu, Nee pelli................kagada pattu", I can not complete it here in this forum. Well point no 1: One can not stop new visiters from asking same question again and again, it is our primary responsibility to share our knowledge, and also one can not expect every visiter to read all the archives and then ask a question, though I tried to pick few charts for KAY but it is really time consuming. Regarding newcomers, some point of time every one is a newcomer, even Sri BVRaman was a new comer at some point of time. point no2: Your post does not address the issues I have raised, let me repeat it: The origin of KSY/KAY, its development, its propagation, its gained importance in todays world, remedies etc. in your post you mentioned about KSY in scriptures and remedy a mantra, I would like to know more about it, if you please! If this was a part of SJC teachings, then why not share it!! Point no3: I am involved with vedic astrology for quite sometime and this interest is not a temporary one, it is a very permanent one like my other interests like palmistry, Tarot etc. Point no4, I am still waiting for your astro-logic, Let me explain to you, The way you are curious to know the result, I am more curious to know the logic behind your conclusion, imagine you post a query and you get one answer and that person wants to know the result immediately, what about the purpose of the post and the fine tunning of the person posting it, don't you think it is very normal to wait for more responses. Point no 5: The remedies for KSY, I would like to know what is wrong with the remedies, will they work or not?, how some one can comment on something which is being developed by many people at various locations, I hope you understand, if a research activity is going on a particular topic, at many different locations, by many different researchers, I do not expect any one of them to even know the outcome of each research, leave alone commenting on its validity. KSY is of similar significance, it is being rejected by many and it is being recommended by many, it is being researched by many since Sri BV Raman's time( like me and I will not take ready made spoon fed answers, particularly when I am searching for something) To add further, how do you validate each and every remedy not only for KSY for that matter any thing, how does one will ever know that the mantra worked or not, the negative effects of KSY have reduced or not, even if the native accepts that there is reduction in its effect, how do you measure it. If remedy worked- Then the answer should be "No KSY effect anymore" no further explanations or deviations like, well after 42 years or 45 or 48 years naturally the effect will go down, it means the remedy is not working, (please consider that the native had followed all rules pertaining to the remedy) Now! every thing is so meaning less, e.g. Vedic Astrology, if a native gets 10 horoscopes due to 10 different ayanmasa used. like that, a remedy if native reports it did not work, because he did not see any change in his life, then again are we not supposed to see the following , will the remedy work immediately, after 40 days, after 1 year, after 42 years, 45, 48 years, when will it work? how are we going to measure it. Well simple answer to all this is,data generated by many people individually or in a group, the experience of each native etc. will take us to a point where one can say in a very concrete way, that the remedy works for KSY etc. To avoid all the above, very good backing from some classics will do, because, the whole vedic science is delivered by Lord brahma, so benefit of doubt goes to Brahma. But in case of KSY, do we have such backings, this is what I have been looking for. If I need already published references; BV Raman, KN Rao are available, but Then why everest is measured every year by many! it is personal experience!!!! hope it is clear, or I do not mind repeating again, I actually enjoy answering difficult questions.:-) Om Namah Shivai! If I need already published references; BV Raman, KN Rao are available, but Then why everest is measured every year by many! it is personal experience!! !! hope it is clear, or I do not mind repeating again, I actually enjoy answering difficult questions.:- ) Om Namah Shivai! SPI RaoNemani <raon1008 > wrote: Om Krishna Guru Namaste Suri Ji, Thanks for the note. So answerking to your question, I have already contrinuted to this topic few years ago and you can read about that from the following links. http://groups. / group/vedic- astrology/ message/39766 http://groups. / group/vedic- astrology/ message/70214 Next, I have already given my thought on your quesiton of a native's marital status as "un-married" and I wanted to confirm whether that is the case or not, so that I can fine tune my new learning accordingly. Regards Raghunatha Rao Suri allam <ianianala (AT) (DOT) ca> wrote: Om Sri gurave Namah! May be I did not made it clear enough, but I thought I have replied in my earlier message to you. I have mentioned in my earlier message saying, that, I have learnt about this KSY/KAY from my SJC Gurus teachings, being a student of SJC. That is my source for KAY/KSY. If you are interested about the SJC conference Audio's then they are available in the SJC store. Please look for details on how to obtain them. Hope this time, I have answered to your question. If you still did not get answer from this message, then please execuse me for not continuing any more on this discussion, as I belive on my SJC Guru's teaching on this subject of KSY/KAY, Period. Guest guest
!Om Gurveh Namah! Dear Suri ji, Namaskar! Personally I think the reason you are not finding any references for KSY/KAY in classical references is coz all the references only state the basics of Jyotish with some examples on how to apply them. For example a basic Mathematics book will teach the basics on Multiplication (1*1 = 1; 1*2=2;2*2=4) and from this one can calculate 11*11 ; 12*12 and 111112*1 and so on.... In some advanced books you will find 11*11 and 12*12 however in NO Mathematics book you will find listing of all the permutations and combinations for multiplication of 1 and 2. You need to use the knowledge of basics to find the result. Similarly lets look at KSY/KAY - classics like BPHS and Jaimini sutra will tell basics about Houses, abilities, yogas, conjunction (malefic and benefic) and maybe some yogas but under no circumstances they can list all the permutations and combinations - astrologer has to use his/her knowledge to derive the results. Since to interpret this yoga it requires advanced knowledge, so the Gurus/various authors have listed it as a standard yoga (like 12*12=144 or you can calculate it ) , so beginners and intermediate jyotishis can focus on other aspects... If you want to research how this yoga was derived you have to start with: - why this yoga has different effects depending on the axis (1-7, 2-8 and so on) ? - What happens when a Ra/Ke conjoins a benefic? - What happens when a benefic is in 1st/7th? and so on - Why does Sarpa yoga give negative effects and why not positive effects? Visti ji has summarized in another email a wonderful and concise explanation of Guru Sanjay Rath ji's teachings. Hope this answers you questions. Warm regards, Pranav Suri allam <ianianala (AT) (DOT) ca> wrote: Om Sri gurave Namah! Dear Pranav jee, Thanks! Guest guest
Om sri gurave namah! Dear Pranav jee, namaskar Thanks for taking time to explain, and I agree and disagree with you, as far as it is considered as a yoga with its effects, it is fine and I think OK with many people, it is like your maths e.g, but when the basis itself is a hype for this particular yoga and mostly it is treated like a dosha giving ample scope for manipulating it for personal benefit, then it is really necessary to know who is the artist behind all this, then it becomes history :-). And as you said, it is definetly derived from various laid out rules, but as a yoga and not as a dosha, as it is made out to be. But who is the artist? atleast for the Term: Kal Sarpa Yoga, once we know that, then origin will automaticlly come. I am not even a beginner! Thanks! Om Namah Shivai! Guest guest
Om Sri gurave Namah! Dear Raghunath garu, Namaskaram! That is the purpose, to make everything clear enough so that nothing is left in the bush, and the when we take up researching something, we do not have to beat the bush. My understanding about astrology is different and more scientific and nothing personal, it is an ancient science, we all are trying to modernise it, so that we can understand and apply it better and if possible pass it on to our descendents. Above is the reason for my disections,;-) Please take it easy and I value your contributions. Thanks! Om Namah Shivai! Guest guest
Dear SPI, "Sri BV Raman had tried to translate kerala shastras from malayalam to english. " What is the meaning of Kerala shastras.I have a couple of books called kerala shastra translated in Hindi, but all of them are oriented towards horary and are on different footings. Can you tell the names and subject or contents so that what you mean by Kerala shastra is clear. Kaal sharp yoga, is used By Dr V.B.Raman to have existed in horoscope he handled , in one of his editorial but this yoga does not find place in his Book Three hundred important yogas. Apart from teachings of SJC there are others and one article written by De Suresh chandra Misra is worth reading published in Vedic astrology that describes genesis of it. For copywrite problem i can not post it , as you are in dubai and it may be difficult to read it.here is the link to their website. You may be interested as their all writings are very nealy reflect elements of science. http://www.vedicastro.com/ OM TAT SAT " - A. Guest guest
!Om Gurveh Namah! Dear Suri ji, Namaskar! I really appreciate you doing this effort to dig the truth from a historical perspective. As we know KSY/KAY is a very powerful negative yoga and its breakage results in a equally powerful positive Maha yoga, this is the teaching of Guruji and other learneds in this forum share the same opinion. We all agree it is a very powerful negative yoga(results are visible very clearly) and some people try to use this information to misguide public and try to make money out of it - I guess an example was some time back some one was charging $1000.00 for the pooja for KSY/KAY. I believe it was the efforts of Guru ji that government finally cracked down and put an end to that cheating. Moreover, there have been lot of charts presented with KSY/KAY in this forum and Respected Visti ji and others have highlghted both negatives and positives of the yoga, and presented the native with true guidance by prescribing mantras/gemstone or other simple remedies. (no expensive remedies or anything...) Since most of us in this forum understand and agree that it is a yoga and not a dosha so where is the confusion? My 2 cents! Warm regards, Pranav Suri allam <ianianala (AT) (DOT) ca> wrote: Om sri gurave namah! SPI sushmagupta51 <sushmagupta51 > wrote: !Om Gurveh Namah! There is one valuable point: KSY is mentioned in Nadi astrology etc. but the question remains, The creator of KSY? etc. Om Namah Shivai! SPI sushmagupta51 <sushmagupta51 > wrote: !Om Gurveh Namah! Dear Suri, Here is link to another post, vedic astrology/message/70191 where Mr Daskhinamurthy discusses the KSY/KAY.
