Dear Friends

to clarify what I have really felt about the mention of the words

Lord Anjenaya is hidden in the context of trying to transliterate

the Sanskrit language from the Devanagari Alphabet side to the

english side........although in modern times many english words in

modern Hindu are printed in Devanagari in India.......some of the

english words never had a meaning in the original Sanskrit....and in

the opposite many of the Sanskrit words do not have a meaning in

english print

I really get frustrated sometimes when the use of the masculine word

Lord is used in conjuction with a female name

Lord in english is masculine and Goddess in english is

feminine.........in Sanskrit there is the word Sri that takes care

of the difficulty in transliteration to english as Sri can be

masculine or feminine...........however the only way a reader would

know if the Deva was masculine or femine or what the mantra was

referrng to is if they had a background in Hindu History

only if the reader of the verse knows that Lord Ganesha is masculine

and Goddess MahaLakshmi is feminine can the full truth of

transliteration be known...some do not know this

In our group most everyone knows if you say Sri Ganesha one is

describeing a male Lord Ganesha and then if one chants Sri

MahaLakshmi most everyone knows that this is referring to Goddess

MahaLakshmi.........however not everyone is educated to know

this............to refer to Lord Hanuman as Lord Anjaneya is so

foreign to my understanding of who and what Lord Hanuman represents

that it simply doesnt work for me......what works for me is Sri

Anjaneya as it takes in the entire energy of all

concerned.......have found that I dont even want to consider the

words Lord Anjaneya except in the context of an Astotara....... and

the words should be Sri Anjaneya

However for others they will have no difficulty with this at all as

it is not an issue for them............in the course of my education

I have been taught that what remains......... is that India is a

culture of many different philosophies on the same subject

matter....... and many different interpretations of the same issue

to be discussed.......there really is no right or wrong answer to

some of this.....is only a matter of preference and need and praying

to the Deva of choice

For some Lord Anjaneya will work wonders and for others the image of

he Greatest Siddha in existence will continue to be prayed to as

Lord Hanuman

am sure you can see how this can get mixed up.......going to a Deva

named as Lord Anjaneya is like going to the mother to see the son

when the son is readily available as Aum Sri Hanumate Ramaha

hope this makes sense and sheds some light on how others see the

world we live in

Aum Nama Sivaya Sivaya Nama Aum

Aum Namo Hanumate Rudra Avataraya

Parayentra Mantra Tantra Trataka Nashakaya

Sri Rama Dutaya Swaha

Wishing you and Family the Best
