Dear Richard Ji,

Can you suggest me some price levels for 5 carat or above sized

Peridots and Red Tourmaline. I mean clean and with proper natural

color. Are they really expensive?

I have come across websites selling them at prices of 45000 Indian

rupees or so.

Regards,

A.J

PS: Is it still safer over there?

Dear Alok,

All is peaceful in the King's coup. Looking forward to meeting on the

30th.

Although in my youth I used to go to the mines in Sri Lanka, etc., it

has been over 15 years since I stopped doing the buying. When you come

I'll give you a list of all the TGJTA members and you can contact the

ones who sell what you need. Here business is pretty straight forward.

If the Chinese think your going to make a low offer (regardless of how

cheap the gems are) then they will start high. But if they see you are

civilized they will give the right price immediately.

Best wishes,

Richard

I have around 10 very high quality Mogok mine Peridots between 3 to 4

carats, they are all unheated internally flawless (IF) quality. Let

me know if you are interested.

Best Regards,
