This robust two-day conference will feature cutting-edge topics at the forefront of science and religion dialogue and will host many serious students and scholars from various prominent engineering, medical and research institutions of India and abroad. Along with the spectacular advancement of science and technology in the last few decades in nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology, space technology and various other disciples, our judgment of values, ethics, peace and morality is more in flux today than ever. Today, every individual in every corner of the globe is enforced with extreme terror, anxiety, fear, and unrest. Our students and youths, the future makers of our society, are given the latest advanced scientific and technological education but are lacking in any spiritual training and foundation. This imbalance in our present educational system is a major concern. It is ironic that in this exponentially increasing scientific and technological age, our students have not been given any education about the meaning and purpose of life – the very first tenets of spirituality. In a humble attempt to bridge this gap, Bhaktivedanta Institute has launched its annual conferences on science and spiritual quest. India, being the storehouse of spiritual wisdom and with its rapidly catching technological advancements is the most befitting place for holding such dialogues. After our first successful AISSQ conference last year, the second conference in the series is planned this year at the beautiful site of Jagannath Puri, Orissa, India. The Second All India Students' Conference on Science and Spiritual Quest (AISSQ – 2006) will bring together some of the finest intellectuals from the most prestigious institutes of India such as Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kharagapur, IIT Delhi, IT BHU), BITS Pilani, Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and various other universities and institutions. Dr. William Grassie, Executive Director of the Metanexus Institute from Philadelphia, USA will deliver the Keynote Address. The confirmed speakers so far include: Prof. J. N.
