Poll can be configured to see - who has voted for which option; and when results are announced - that is often disclosed as well.

Since, you have raised a sensitive issue regarding continuation of Ashutosh as moderator - How can anyone vote freely, when such results (with member name) is known the moderator himself (or when results are announced).

The poll may not be holding confidentiality of vote for each member's inclination. and under the circumstances, needs assurance from you, as to who will have access to the results !!

Dear Kumar,

A proper way would be to send a translation of your statements in a language understood by all in this group, ie english, along with your statements in hindi or in your next mail as an amendment. Please think about the large number of non-hindi speaking people on this group.

Best regards

Hon'ble Tanvir Ji,

First of all my respectful regards to you, Sir.

I am AGAINST THE BANNING OF MR. BASKAR that too unilaterally without proper

course of action which was roughly outlined initially but later on very well

defined by Pt. Arjun Ji and seconded by many others honourable members of

our family (JR).

My reasons AGAINST THE BAN are few but I believe are very important:

1. If we look at our own families where we have SIX/SEVEN brothers and

sisters and then their children, havn't we seen repeatedly that there are

always difference of opinion and way of thinking. Do we not find our own

brothers/sisters having different temperaments...some cool, some not so

cool, some short tempered, some very short tempered. Have we ever CUT our

relations with our brother or sister who is 'some short tempered' or 'very

short tempered'? My conseiousness will SAY, NO, absolutely NO......although

I know it very well that my brother'S or sister's nature is not going to

change for ever. The banning (cutting of relations) of a Learned member

like Mr. Baskar Ji is indeed painful....unwarranted.......if my views in the

foregoing lines are taken into serious consideration.

2. From the querries raised my members of this Forum, I have often

observed that the responses from Pt Baskar has always been quick...sometimes

in a matter of 2 minutes, 5 minutes....Isn't that a big contribution to our

JR Family Group?

I have the greatest respect in my heart/mind for all the Hon'ble Pandits in

this Forum, who are all great contributors for the general welfare of the

human kind.

It is my fervent request to you, SIR Tanvir Ji, to LIFE THE BAN and let the

free flow of information/advice/guidance continue with more contributions

from Mr. Baskar Ji in the great interest of our JR Family group.

Of course, Sir, you are the final authority..but please consider only this:

Mr.Baskar is also one of our brothers in this JR Family Group......no matter

what nature he has..............and how can we think of banning (cutting

relations) with our own brother and that too without giving him any prior

justification.

My best wishes and regards,

N. K. Rana
