Guest guest
Dear RRji in the last episode of GBPKumarji's banning only one active astrologer viz. ashutoshji kept silent and didnot ask for following a procedure of warning or for reinstatement. all members, including you and me, suggested a warning to precede banning. in the current episode of Bhaskarji's banning too some active astrologers who asked to follow a procedure earlier are now silent. with this, the group is getting a message conveyed that these members are comfortable and not worried by the sword shown by the moderator instantly after getting power, as that sword will not fall on them. in the last incident ashutoshji was silent and now he is the moderator. so may i expect the other luminaries who are silent now to become moderators of tomorrow and they also show their sword or become ambidexterous and show swords to remove members instantly. anyway these are my personal observations of the happenings in the group which you may trash as an unwarranted concern of an active contributor or respond to the reality that all are members here and a procedure has to be followed for removal of a member, for tomrrow it can be me and the day after it can be you. as the entire group has seen, i will be the first person to cry for any member even if he is wrong because we are here to serve or help or assist others and not punish. only the moderator is thinking of punitive measures on the pretext of imposing peace in the group. with best wishes pandit arjun , "crystal pages" <jyotish_vani wrote: > > Dear Arjun ji, > > I am just quoting a small portion of your message that I wish to second > and wholeheartedly agree to. > > RR > > > , "panditarjun2004" > <panditarjun2004@> wrote: > > > > ... i know tanvir ji very > > well and he built a great ashram and he was hardly into moderation > > of mails which is the hallmark of his maturity. on a personal note > > i rate tanvirji and this group as the most democratic group on the > > net. > > ... >
Guest guest
Dear Pandit Arjun ji, (this mail is reproduction of portion of my mail to Ashutosh - yesterday evening - which has not been responded so far) I would have appreciated moderator's stand on Bhaskar - had the moderation rules being announced and then any violation taken place. But, after yesterday's bit of conversation between Ashutosh and Bhaskar, now Ashutosh's action - even if justifiable, leaves a question on his impartial decision (as done in view of his prejudice per, his complaint to Tanveer ji - as he stated). And moderator's image as fair person is a big question mark then? I am writing this, inspite of the fact that - I has many bitter conversations with Bhaskar (compared to any other member). But Ban is something, which any reasonable person, must exercise after setting rules, prior warning, personal warning and then as last resort. regards / Prafulla Gang If you paint in your mind a picture of bright and happy expectations, you put yourself into a condition conducive to your goal. ************************************************ > > panditarjun2004 > Sat, 16 Sep 2006 03:15:23 -0000 > > Re: Arjun ji's post (a portion therefrom> > > Dear RRji > > in the last episode of GBPKumarji's banning only one active > astrologer viz. ashutoshji kept silent and didnot ask for following > a procedure of warning or for reinstatement. all members, including > you and me, suggested a warning to precede banning. > > in the current episode of Bhaskarji's banning too some active > astrologers who asked to follow a procedure earlier are now silent. > with this, the group is getting a message conveyed that these > members are comfortable and not worried by the sword shown by the > moderator instantly after getting power, as that sword will not fall > on them. in the last incident ashutoshji was silent and now he is > the moderator. so may i expect the other luminaries who are silent > now to become moderators of tomorrow and they also show their sword > or become ambidexterous and show swords to remove members instantly. > > anyway these are my personal observations of the happenings in the > group which you may trash as an unwarranted concern of an active > contributor or respond to the reality that all are members here and > a procedure has to be followed for removal of a member, for tomrrow > it can be me and the day after it can be you. as the entire group > has seen, i will be the first person to cry for any member even if > he is wrong because we are here to serve or help or assist others > and not punish. only the moderator is thinking of punitive measures > on the pretext of imposing peace in the group. > > with best wishes > pandit arjun > > > , "crystal pages" > <jyotish_vani wrote: >> >> Dear Arjun ji, >> >> I am just quoting a small portion of your message that I wish to > second >> and wholeheartedly agree to. >> >> RR >> >> >> , "panditarjun2004" >> <panditarjun2004@> wrote: >>> >>> ... i know tanvir ji very >>> well and he built a great ashram and he was hardly into > moderation >>> of mails which is the hallmark of his maturity. on a personal > note >>> i rate tanvirji and this group as the most democratic group on > the >>> net. >>> ... >>
Guest guest
Dear Arjun bhai, When Prashantji whom I have always called Kumarji was banned, if I recall correctly, I was the first member to protest here although I log-in way after the regulars because of my location! I was then in an EST zone so 9.5 or 10.5 hours behind my beloved those in India! The LIGHT of Kumarji was always unmistakable even though it turned against me initially, painfully -- and somewhat aggravated and unsettled me, I admit! But you know -- it felt like the slap of a loving parent, or a big brother that really wants the best that can be for his younger brother (not in age but in suffering and thus in soul-years?) and for OUR family -- JYOTISH! It could all be an illusion or perceptional differences, but I give those importance! As in this case!! Guest guest
dear prafullaji the noble profession or practice of doctors and astrologers have no feelings or discrimination such as friends and enemies. we see all visitors equally. in the last episode of GBPKumarji's ban itself i got a doubt that ashtuoshji supports outright autocratic ban due to his lone silence which he confirmed by using it instantly after becoming moderator. i am also getting a strong message conveyed to the group that whosoever supports authoritarian autocracy becomes a moderator. once the group owner tanvirji said if a member does 99 good jobs and does one bad job or hurt one querent, he would not be pardoned. this tanvirji said in his note on GBPkumarji's reinstatement requests from all. ashutoshji in at least three different messages painted the character of a woman bad and all those querents cried both in the public group as well as in the private IDs of other astrologers saying that it is character assasination. an astrolgoer has no right or authority to paint the character of a woman. will these character assasinations warrant disciplinary action against him and will he be removed. when there were criticisms on ashutoshji's atheism, i sent a dedicated open mail in support of ashutoshji praising for his service to the humanity which does not matter whether he is an athiest or not. it is a different thing that in other mails, i observed that how can an athiest believes in non-existing planets like rahu and ketu and suggest stones for them. if four people complaint against ashutoshji, and two already complained, will tanvirji remove ashutoshji. with best wishes pandit arjun , Prafulla Gang <jyotish wrote: > > Dear Pandit Arjun ji, > > (this mail is reproduction of portion of my mail to Ashutosh - yesterday evening - which has not been responded so far) > > I would have appreciated moderator's stand on Bhaskar - had the moderation rules being announced and then any violation taken place. Guest guest
Dear RRji we believe that the same god dwells in all human beings including bhaskarji and ashutoshji. let there be no discrimination. if i am in ashutoshji's shoes and if several members protest against my appointment or my style of function, i will resign from such post which does not enjoy the confidence of the members. anyway, what one expects and what one gets is different. the internet groups are places where suffering people come to pour their heart and find peace. if these groups are also controlled in a dictatorial unilateral autocratic fashion, people get a wrong notion about these groups. with best wishes pandit arjun , "crystal pages" <jyotish_vani wrote: > > Dear Arjun bhai, > > When Prashantji whom I have always called Kumarji was banned, if I > recall correctly, I was the first member to protest here although I > log-in way after the regulars because of my location! Guest guest
Dear Arjun ji, Being an ant (as repeatedly stated publicly) and meaning thereby a lowly ordinary human myself, I do not worry about things that you raise! Please do not consider that response as flippant or overly 'spiritual' as some others have, somewhat cursorily! What this forum of a few thousands thinks of me or us or what we derive out of them is meaningless in the long run! WE have a REAL marathon ahead of us, brother! Are you practicing for it?? Guest guest
Dear Pandit Arjun ji, The uglist confrontations, Bhaskar ji had on this forum - was with me on couple of ocassions; BUT - at no time, I can endorse his banning. Our mutual conflicts are normally contextual (one of us can have strong opinions and need to find space for his opinion; other may have their expressions ..and for some heat, for some time, we all can become a bit wild) and in no time, all subsides as well; and we carry the sense of belonging. How does these conflict matter? Specially - for "jyotishis" - who know all events are planet driven - so is the anger / reaction - and if jyotishi can guide an individual / household, in understanding life patterns, should these rationalist approach be the right mode? As, I stated - Ashutosh's action could have been justified, had he not linked it to his "own" prejudice (as he referred his confrontation on chat yesterday with Bhaskar; his complaint to Tanveer ji as normal member etc). His recent mail on justifying - non warning (perhaps again for his past experiences as "normal member" - remember not as "moderator" ) does not make sense to my belief system. Please note that - I had most bitter arguments with Bhaskar ji - so should I carry those prejudices? Arjun ji - fact also remains that - he is moderator and he has the sword. "Take it or leave it" is certainly not a insecurity to me, but a sense of discomfort for sure !! Do we have choices? Yes, I am sure - some wisdom will prevail and Tanveer ji will do the needful. regards / Prafulla Gang If you paint in your mind a picture of bright and happy expectations, you put yourself into a condition conducive to your goal. ************************************************ > > panditarjun2004 > Sat, 16 Sep 2006 04:00:12 -0000 > > Re: Arjun ji's post (a portion therefrom> > > dear prafullaji > > the noble profession or practice of doctors and astrologers have no > feelings or discrimination such as friends and enemies. we see all > visitors equally. > > in the last episode of GBPKumarji's ban itself i got a doubt that > ashtuoshji supports outright autocratic ban due to his lone silence > which he confirmed by using it instantly after becoming moderator. > i am also getting a strong message conveyed to the group that > whosoever supports authoritarian autocracy becomes a moderator. > > once the group owner tanvirji said if a member does 99 good jobs and > does one bad job or hurt one querent, he would not be pardoned. > this tanvirji said in his note on GBPkumarji's reinstatement > requests from all. > > ashutoshji in at least three different messages painted the > character of a woman bad and all those querents cried both in the > public group as well as in the private IDs of other astrologers > saying that it is character assasination. an astrolgoer has no > right or authority to paint the character of a woman. will these > character assasinations warrant disciplinary action against him and > will he be removed. > > when there were criticisms on ashutoshji's atheism, i sent a > dedicated open mail in support of ashutoshji praising for his > service to the humanity which does not matter whether he is an > athiest or not. it is a different thing that in other mails, i > observed that how can an athiest believes in non-existing planets > like rahu and ketu and suggest stones for them. > > if four people complaint against ashutoshji, and two already > complained, will tanvirji remove ashutoshji. > > with best wishes > pandit arjun > > , Prafulla Gang <jyotish > wrote: >> >> Dear Pandit Arjun ji, >> >> (this mail is reproduction of portion of my mail to Ashutosh - > yesterday evening - which has not been responded so far) >> >> I would have appreciated moderator's stand on Bhaskar - had the > moderation rules being announced and then any violation taken place. > But, after yesterday's bit of conversation between Ashutosh and > Bhaskar, now Ashutosh's action - even if justifiable, leaves a > question on his impartial decision (as done in view of his prejudice > per, his complaint to Tanveer ji - as he stated). Guest guest
Prafulla! Nothing is "planet driven" dear friend! Those who have been given the power to calculate where planets should be and how they must be handled -- are the ones that *placed* those planets there or at least chose to be there when the PLANETS were there! Is it too cryptic? Too Esoteric too hairy fairy or Shakespearean?? ranjan , Prafulla Gang <jyotish wrote: > > Dear Pandit Arjun ji, > > The uglist confrontations, Bhaskar ji had on this forum - was with me on couple of ocassions; BUT - at no time, I can endorse his banning.
