Guest guest
hi all! i'm a student in vocal classical music. since sometime could not move my voice easily in lower and higher saptaks and had pain in throat on excessive singing or speaking. it got worse recently and my throat pains even on singing for just an hour or two. cannot hold my voice constantly even on one swar and my voice seems to crack.its jsut not 'sthir'!keeps wavering..very frustrating! got larygoscopy done and doctor said there are nodules near the larynx or vocal chords or whatever.doctor has suggested to meet a speech therapist and has advised voice rest for a week. i'm not too keen on taking more alopathic medicines....could anybody suggest something from naturoathy or ayurved which could help me. i dont wanna spoil my carrer in music. please help! well my age is 27, diet: generally ghar ka khana...very rarely eat out and not much of fried things..spicy i cant eat only. digestion proper therefore no constipation or anything. weight:55kgs. i do practice some yog and dont have any other health problems. no reccuring throat infections...its just that it pains if i speak more (i'm quite a reserved person and speak very less and in a very low volume...no question of shouting!) and singing is in pathetic situation..quite frustrating....tell me, is there no medicine for nodules? can they reccur..why did they happen in the first place?..i just feel at times that there is some hidden cough which is always there...like i dont have visible cold and cough but i feel a very slight pressure while breathing as if i'm not breathing to my fullest...as if some part of my nose is closed forever. sometimes after doing rigourous pranayaam i feel so open and easy to breathe! but that is just a temporary situation...but i dont know whether that thing has any connection with my throat problem. just wrote it..may be it could help u in diagnosing. doctor hasnt given any report, he just saw it on his telescope(some instrument) and said there are two-three nodules near the voice box thats it. a friend had a same problem. she took voice rest, consulted speech therapist, was feeling well but the thing had reccured in her. i'm scared if the same hapens with me! i want to get rid of it from the roots so that i can freely and whole heartedly concentrate on my music carreer! doctor said there is no point in getting them removed through surgery as they would easily reccur! i'm scared.how do i get rid of these forever so that they just go and never reappear!!! need some serious help from u all! thanks Peace and love Mauli
Guest guest
Mauli, You mentioned that you do yoga. Have you tried "Lion Pose"? I am not there to see you. It should either make it better or aggravate it. I would try it out for at least a few days to see what happens. http://www.santosha.com/asanas/simha.html Other poses to try are shoulderstand, neck rolls, plough. Also, in a sitting posture, lean back 60 degrees, head all the way back, open moouth wide, tongue out and pant like a dog. Guest guest
Hi Mauli It is my experience that Shankh Mudra heals many kind of problems in the throat. It is made by encircle your thumb with the four fingers of your right hand.æ At the same time, touch the right thumb to the extneded middle finger of your left hand. Hold your hands in front of your sternum. You may view a picture of Shank Mudra here: http://ph.MudraMakers/photos/view/662b?b=7 Kind regards Cristian Christensen - Teacher in Mudras > "mauli" <maulibavisker@> wrote: > > i'm a student in vocal classical music. since sometime could not > > move my voice easily in lower and higher saptaks and had pain in > > throat on excessive singing or speaking. it got worse recently and > > my throat pains even on singing for just an hour or two. cannot > hold > > my voice constantly even on one swar and my voice seems to > crack.its > > jsut not 'sthir'!keeps wavering..very frustrating! >

Guest guest
Dear Mauli! The best medicine of choice in your case is "Khadiradi vati" A safe polyherbal preparation whose chief ingredient is "Khadira"Acasia catechu, katha in Hindi. The top most synonym which itself reflects its significanse in all throat disorders. The synonym given to Khadira is "Gayatri".Means "which protects throat of singers". So i suggest this medicine for your problem. Besides this"Ujjayi pranayam" is too benificial. _____ > i'm a student in vocal classical music. since sometime could not > move my voice easily in lower and higher saptaks and had pain in > throat on excessive singing or speaking. it got worse recently and

Guest guest
dear MAULI it is nice that you have got the three medicines ,please start using it from right now. the other medicine (HABB-E-BUH HATUSSAOT) is made by REX REMIDIES and you will find it at any big shop of unani medicine. you asked me about some Ayurvedic medicines, but i think you don`t need it while usine these medicines, further more i don`t know about Ayurvedic medicine so do not take ayurveda and unani simultaneously. try to find the HABB-E-BUH HATUSSAOT and tell me again. have a good life Hkm.
