Guest guest
Heres a few observations of Law of Karma. Theres no fixed answer, but what does everyone think of them: 1. You donate your eyes to a blind person, doing a great job. But that person uses thse eyes to commit evil acts- stealing, murder, rape. Since you helped him this endeavour, will you share a part of the blame(remember Karma is the Law of cause and effect- you are responsible for your actions, even if the results are not what you expected). 2. A person fixes a cricket match, so that a Team that is expected to win will lose. Another person, who had been stealing money from his employer to bet on that game, loses all his money as the team that was sure to win now loses. He kills his family and himself. Is the match fixer responsible, and will he have to suffer, not just for stealing but also murder?

If you are looking at Law of cause and effect, then yes you are responsible. But normally, you give to charity, and its not your problem what the reciever does with it. > 2. Yes, the match fixer is reponsible for Karma of the family being killed, but it wont be as bad if he had killed them himself. But he will get some share of the Karma of the murder of family. Guest guest
1. No you are not responsible at all if the other person misuses your charity. 2. The match fixer is only responsible for stealing money, not for the death of the family.

Thats why you should be careful donating anything to undeserving people, as if they might misuse it, esp your organs. > 2. Personally I dont think match fixing is a sin(or bad Karma) at all, as no was suffers from it, except for degenerate gamblers.

Good Questions : When we donate our eyes with a good will and do not really care for the results, the accepter's bad actions will not affect us as per karma theory. > 2. A person fixes a cricket match, so that a Team that is expected to > win will lose. It is a question of personal choice. A person commits suicide by drinking Sulphuric Acid...then the manufacturer will not have any karmic debt, because he did not make acid for suicide. Each person's choice determines how much karmic debt he is taking However, if a person deliberately acts in a way that people may lose or die with his act, then certainly all others loses/deaths are a karmic debt on him. That z why God gave us free will to chose... and that is precisely the difference between us and animals with love and blessings baba
Guest guest
Hello, Krishan says in the Bhagvad Gita that to escape the law of Karma, whenever you perform ANY action (whether good or bad) you should dedicate it to God. This not only removes the "aham" in you but also frees you from the cycle of births that one will have to go through to suffer the consequences (either good or bad). In the scenarios you provided, I dnt think the person who donates his eyes will suffer. If the eyes were donated with good intentions, then it is the person who is doing wrong actions that would suffer. There exist a lot of tools that can be used for either good or bad. In the second scenario- Match fixer should suffer only for stealing and not murder. The victim himself will suffer for not only killing himself, but also the mruder of his family, and plus the money he stole for gambling. koolkanya
