Guest guest
I would be very interested in reading about experiences with sacred objects both ideal or not so ideal (such as wrecking a vehicle following wearing a misprescribed stone). For example. I received a siddha mala from Rudraksha Nepal and initially put in on on a Thursday as I just could not wait until Monday. All hell broke lose in a relationship. I took it off and it was like it never happened-a passing storm. So then I put it on on the prescribed day of Monday and after chanting the mantra said, "Shiva, Shiva, Shiva, please make it rain." We were in a severe drought here in the desert. It rained most of the week! The weathermen were really puzzled and commented that it was totally unexpected. I kind of wanted to call them and say Shiva did it but that would never make the news. Same as when statues of Ganesh were drinking milk. Or like when honey was pouring from the picture of an Indian sage in California and people came from all over the world to taste it and see the miracle. The media never showed. One the other hand, shortly after getting some new stained glass windows installed at a church in that same state, there was a sunset service. A little boy gasped and cried out. "Look! He is here!He is here!" Everyone looked up and to their dismay, reflected on the sanctuary wall, in all his shining glory, was Bozo the Clown. The sun shining through the new windows created the image at a certain time each day. That definately made the news. Anyway it would be great to read stories about effects of your favorite talismans. Guest guest
Hi DD, Namaste!!! An example may be taken from one of my own experiences with gem therapy. According to my Sidereal horoscope (above) I have some exalted (strong) planets, a weak planet and a negative planet. Saturn in particular is already a "krura-graha" or cruel planet and it's position in my horoscope is even worse. Still, I was advised by some sidereal astrologers to use a blue sapphire, the gem for Saturn, in order to "pacify" or CHANGE Saturn's harmful influence on me. This brings up the question of how gems should be chosen and what their effects will be. One group opines that gems should be used to "pacify" harmful planets; another group believes that gems should be used to "strengthen" weak planetary influences. While yet another belief is in "strengthening" beneficial or auspicious planets. Let me relate my own experience and tell what my final conclusion is. Every Sidereal astrologer who has read my chart points out that Saturn in Cancer in the 1st house is quite malefic and is causing me many of the more long lasting problems in my life. I was advised to wear a blue sapphire to "pacify" Saturn. After a long search I found a 7 carat flawless, unburned, "Brahmin" colored blue sapphire from Burma. I bought the gem, immediately had it set into a special gold ring, and on Saturday, two hours and forty minutes before sunset, I installed the ring after reciting the appropriate mantras. Almost as soon as I started wearing this most auspicious blue sapphire I began having ill fortune. I started getting frequent headaches and my business started slowing down along with my energy level. Almost everything I did was beset with obstacles. Finally, after using the stone for almost 1 year, I took it off in frustration. Later I had the opportunity to show my birth chart to Pandit Vidyadhar Shukla (the Chief Brahmin Priest of Thailand) who confirmed that Saturn was indeed a "bad influence" for me. He further suggested that as the blue sapphire had made matters worse this was a good case against the theory that gems "pacify" harmful planets. He suggested that I should wear a ruby to "strengthen" the Sun in order to counteract Saturn's harmful influence. Since following this advice I have experienced much better effects on both my heath, business and over-all outlook. I also have been told that I need to wear a Blue Sapphire but after reading this I am a little afraid to. Plus I have not had my chart done fully can someone advise a good astrologer? Guest guest
Dear DD, Namaste!!! Thanks for all the experiences with gems. But I often wonder about the quality of gems people use... a bad quality gem will give bad results, even ruin. You also mention pearl!?? Really? You have a pearl? If it is "cultured" then the answer is NO, because a real pearl is pearl on the inside and outside. When reading about your experiences I can't help but think about the millions of people who have no talisman, and yet they also have all kinds of experiences. Yes, broken siddha-mala is not good. It should be strung on something more strong if it has been breaking. Please do that. Best wishes, Richard -----------> Hi Richardji, Too bad about the sapphire. It sounds great! I am very attracted to sapphires. I guess it is kind of the theory of like cures like as in homeopathy when they prescribe for an ill aspected planet. I was told to get a sapphire and I happened to have an unheated one here. So I had it set, did the ritual and wore it. I did well financially but there was alot of anger. I would have thoughts of slashing someone's tires at the grocery store. Later I came out and the tires were slashed. Weird things I never thought before. Later I realized it just amplified thoughts around me. Like for example Gandhi was puzzled by having thoughts of murder only to find out his food had been cooked by a murderer. I tried to tone it don with using an amethyst instead and it worked well but I just feel weird when I wear it. Lucky but weird. So I went to a 2k white unheated sapphire which should be great. Let's just say I was glad I did not invest in a diamond.. Don't even want to sell it and inflict it on someone else. I went to plan C and wore an emerald. Not so good so I switched to Tourmaline. Tourmaline is not the best for a woman in a relationship as it turns off the man-makes her energetically seem masculine. Like if a woman wants to get rid of a husband-run him off she should wear or carry green and he should carry pink. Vice versa if she wants to keep him is an old root woman remedy. Amazingly what I receive great benefit from as a Mercury Talisman is a Mercury dime set in a silver anklet. Leap year is best. That is more of an African or African American tradition but it seems to work better than emerald or tourmaline. Everytime I wear coral there is car trouble. The first time a wreck, the second time I wore it the transmission blew on a newer vehicle on the turnpike while sandwiched between 2 trucks. It was good for me as I lived and had a nice vacation while it was fixed. The last time in a diiferent Toyota a flat a week. I do well but the repair costs seem to eat up any benefit. I suspect that for the zodiac of Toyota, coral might be ill aspected. Have you ever noticed relationships on what might appear to be an inanimate object and talisman's? Even cities like in Pittsburgh or NY pearl drives me nuts. But in Phoenix it feels better than any other stone. Do you think other factors such as the area in which you live when your dwelling was built etc. factors in? Just some observations that it very much appears too. Especially with the vehicle. Also my rudraksha siddha mala broke 3 times in India and twice since I have been back. It has been less than a month. Is this a good or a bad thing? sacred-objects, Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 wrote: > > Hi DD, > > Namaste!!! > > An example may be taken from one of my own experiences with gem > therapy.
