Blessing of the Holy Rudraksha Beads

Dear Freinds

 

Have seen more than one question on how to Bless the Beads and one of

the ways that is less time consumeing and easiest to do is found

quoted in the Nirnayasindhu and is as follows

 

Rudraksha should be washed with Pancamrita. It should be initiated

with five syllabled mantra such as Aum Nama Sivaya and with the

MahaMrityunjaya Mantra ( Rig Veda 6.59.12 )

 

It should be then inititated with Aghora Mantra that is

 

Aum Aghor

Aum Aghoratar

Aum Hraum Hram Namaste Rudrarupaya Hraim Swaha

 

Again a rosary should be prepared with either 108 or 54 ro 27 beads. A

rosary containing beadsless than these is of mean or medium quality

respectively
