Guest guest
Dear All, I recently came across very beautiful paintings of Shree Krishna. The artist is none other than the student of Srila Prabhpad. She recently came to Vrindavan with her present Guruji. The website is http://bhaktiart.net Regards, A.J
Guest guest
Dear Alok, Namaste!!! Yes, she is my godsister. She is disciple of Srila Prabhupada, and after his death she started taking shiksha from Srila Prabhupada's friend, Sri BV Narayana Maharaj. What I don't understand is why she had to get RE-initiated with name change!?? She was already initiated, and just needed shiksha, so WHY get reinitiated? That seems an insult to Srila Prabhupada. If her original Guru was bogus then I can understand RE initiation, but as Srila Prabhupada was bona fide, so why not keep original initiation-name and just accept shiksha from others? Try to figure that out!!!??? Best wishes, Richard sacred-objects, "a_jagawat" <a_jagawat wrote: > > Dear All, > > I recently came across very beautiful paintings of Shree Krishna. Guest guest
Dear Richard Ji, I had an interesting long talk with Sayamarani Ji. She respects her Guruji very well. The name change from Jadurani to Sayamarani was inspired by Srila Prabhupad only. He inspired his spiritual successor, Srila Narayana Maharaja, to give her the additional spiritual name of Syamarani dasi. Sayamarani Ji is really a very simple person from what i know about her. Presenlty i am planning to rebuild her website and convert it to PHP webstore. Being at another place i was not able to go to Vrindavan. She mailed me thrice but i could not make it. I felt sad because i was going to meet Srila Narayan Maharaj as well. May be it was Govind Ichha. Regards, A.J sacred-objects, "Richard Shaw-Brown" <rsbj66 wrote: > > Dear Alok, > > Namaste!!!
