Guest guest
I agree with you Sir. It will encourage the patients in this group to speak out. Many feel that ayurveda is limited in application being useful only for certain problems. If people start sharing their experiences then the fact that ayurveda is useful for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING will become evident. Guest guest
OK, Here is one such success story: SUCCESS STORY ! At a recent backache camp. one senior lady working for the University of Pune for Instrumentation was complaining of backache and leg pain. But when questioned, she had the following complications: 1. Her xray report showed degenerative changes and minimal retrolisthesis of L2 over L3 and L3 over L4; 2. She had PIVD, i.e., prolapsed inter- vertebral disc at both the levels. 3. She had diffused osteoporosis (brittle bones) and, 4. Osteoarthritis of both the knees giving her knee pain and leg pain which could be also due to osteoporosis as was visible from the shape of her bones of her legs. These conditions develop over a long period of time although the patient might not have been aware. Hence, it is necessary for people of advancing age to take precautions right from the beginning. Her condition was much worse as it was related to her office work of instrumentation. She has been under treatment of some doctors. Pain killers are no good as they give temporary relief and have very many adverse side-effects. They should better be avoided as much as possible There were many other patients. They were all explained details of simple nature cures that work even when all other therapies fail. Then we wanted to pick up a patient who was actually having back pain to do the simple nature cure exercises that take hardly five minutes, just to find out how much pain relief is obtained even at the first try of the exercises. This lady was actually having back pain. So she was selected to do the exercises as a demo for all other patients to see and learn. After finishing the exercises, she reported absolutely painless and fresh, rather absolutely normal and, so to say, 'kicking'. She walked and walked and was surprised to see the beautiful feeling of total wellness and was ecstatic to enjoy that blissful wellness. She even made the following remars: "After doing all the exercises for 5 minutes as shown by Mr. Acharya, I am feeling very happy and tension-free. I am thankful to him & also to PCA Hall (where the pain-relief camp was organised)". Thus it was demonstrated to all patients that if they all took to those exercises for five to ten minutes daily, their pain and problems would automatically get solved within the shortest possible time never to return again provided does not return to the lifestyle that was responsible for his woes. Besides, if they could put those exercises in their daily routine, not as an exercise that one forces oneself to do as prescribed, but just to enjoy the feeling of goodness and thrill which this lady was feeling; then most of their health problems get resolved enabling them to enjoy life all the time in future instead of suffering pain as hitherto. Last but not the least, when they started attributing to God's blessings, it was explained to them that God has put everything in our body to heal itself and to surge ahead by even awakening the "kundalini" power, absolutely effortlessly as was demonstrated. The only problem is that today's man has become so modern as to become sceptical of everything. That keeps him away from reaping the fruits of such simple God-given remedies which cost neither money nor time.
