Guest guest
Dear list, A few days back, I read in the news paper about the birth of Japanese Princess Kiko's son. Here are the birth details: DOB: 6-Sep-2006 TOB: 8:27 am JST POB: Tokyo It appears that there are more negatives than the positivies in the chart. I would like the list memebers to comment on this. My reading is as follows: +ves: - Vargottama Lagna - Gajakesari Yoga - Lagna lord and 9th lord are conjunct, (however, it is in the 12th house) - 9th lord and 10th lord in conjunction (again in the 12th) - Venus is yogakaraka (from Moon) - Mars is exalt in Navamsa -ves: - Two malefics in lagna - No benefics in kendras - Rahu-Ketu in 1-7 axis as a result Rahu in the 7th - Moon in 12th house in Navamsa - Mercury (lagna lord) is combust in the 12th - Born in the MD of 8th lord, MD of 6th lord follows next - Parivartana of Moon and Saturn - Venus in the 12th Regards, Krishna http://astrokrishna.blogspot.com Regards, Krishna http://astrokrishna.blogspot.com
Guest guest
Hi Krishna, Very interesting chart. I agree with you. There seem to be a lot of negatives, but I believe the Sun is strong, although in 12th. The Sun is also in conjunction with 2 benefics for this Virgo ascendant. From the Moon, again this Sun is in a moksha house (8th). Also note that the Sun is burning on his natural throne (Leo) and that Mars aspects his mooltrikona sign Aries (8th) from dharma 9th (from Moon). This makes me think the native may turn out to be a spiritual leader (Mars in 9th) more than anything else. I have also looked into the Varga charts and again from lagna I see troubles, but looking from the Moon, in Navamsa (spouse), we can see that the 7th lord is conjunct 9th in the 7th house. Also note benefic aspect of Jupiter on Moon and 5th from it. On Dasamsa (great successes), Moon is conjunct Jupiter on a friend's sign. It is interesting to see that, on Dasamsa, Saturn (ascetism) is on 10th from both lagna and Moon indicating again someone spiritual. Going back to the Rasi chart, to note that, 4th lord from Moon (Mars) is placed on 9th, aspected by Saturn. This very malefic aspect of Saturn to its sign of debilitation seems to indicate trouble at home (Japan). Also to note Saturn's aspect to the Moon (karaka for the home) and from lagna, 4th lord Jupiter is in a maraka house. Mars rules 4th from Moon on both Rasi and Navamsa and in both charts Mars is placed on a house that indicates abroad. To note that maraka Mercury on Navamsa is afflicting 4th - similar to Jupiter being in a maraka house in Rasi. This to me indicates a life abroad due to problems at home. Navamsa's 7th lord (Saturn) from Moon occupies moolatrikona sign with 9th lord Mars - this seems to indicate marriage to a foreigner, which may be corroborated by Venus in 9th from lagna. Another indication of problems at home may be Dasamsa's 4th lord debilitated Venus. To note Rahu in 10th indicating career abroad, Moon (4th lord from itself) conjunct Jupiter (9th lord) again indicating abroad and spiritual leader (Moon and Jupiter in Aries). Best wishes, Rui. PS: I would like to examine Japan's chart if anyone has it please. Guest guest
Hi Rui, Thanks for the detailed analysis. I agree with your observation about the Sun. He is pretty strong. It appears that the chart is strong from Moon and weak from Lagna. Between Lagna and Moon, it appears that lagna is stronger than Moon as there are no planets on either side of moon or with moon. Whereas there are two planets in lagna and more adjacent to it. I see health problems as well, as 8th lord Mars is in lagna with Ketu aspected by Sani and Rahu. And, the baby is born in Mars dasha. Health of the baby might be a question. Regards, Krishna http://astrokrishna.blogspot.com --- RPM <rupamede > wrote: > Hi Krishna, > > Very interesting chart. > > I agree with you. Guest guest
Dear Krishna and Rui, I had a look at the baby's chart. my conclusions were as follows 1.lagna under the influence of four malefics Rahu, Ketu, 8th Lord Mars and 6th Lord Saturn(by aspect). 2.Lagna Lord Mercury positioned in the 12th conjunct the 12th Lord Sun. 3. Moon in mutual aspect with 6th Lord Saturn. 4. Quadrants have malefics and no benefics present. 5. Benefics venus and mercury placed in 12th and Jupiter has kendradhipathi (by ownership of 4th and 7th placed in the 2nd) and maraka properties (placed in the 2nd). I hesitate to say it, but do you think balarishta(<8yrs Ayus) is possible? regards arun
Guest guest
Dear Arun, The factors you have listed will definitly cause problems. However, I don't think they will cause balarishta. Also, note that lagna is vargottama. In my opinion it is not even an alpayu (<36 years) case. At the worst, it is a madhyayu case. Guest guest
Hi Dear Krishna, Rui, and Arun, Interesting to see your thoughts and observations on this chart. Sometimes I hesitate to look too much at a young baby's chart, I think there is something said about this in classical Jyotish literature. I also have a grandson born on this same day but a different time and ascendant. My grandson's ascendant is Taurus and I'd looked briefly at his chart as well just for fun. I just want to mention it being interesting in the chart of Princess Kiko's son, with Sun so strong, and the two planets in the ascendant are both in Sun's star as well as lagnesh closely conjoined/combust Sun in Sun's own house in Moolatrikona. Also Sun is final depositor for this chart, other than the parivartana between Moon and Saturn. ".Moolatrikona is more focused towards a definite goal then a planet in its own rasi." - from Vault of the Heavens. All this intriguing with Japan's flag having the large Sun on it. The planets separate from this final depositor Sun also intriguing.. the Moon being in the 5th, a Dharma house, and in Capricorn, the natural 10H, and the exchange with Saturn in the natural 4th. Saturn representing 'duty', Moon one's home and emotions. Also that the Sun itself is in Poorva Phalguni nakshatra, just with the meanings associated and known for that star, as well this star lord, Venus, also in Leo.. Jupiter in the 2H of one's family (and the name that comes with one's family) and Jupiter again represents 'duty'. Jupiter in his own star and his depositor in Leo. Ketu itself represents a flag. This all continues in Navamsa with Sun in Navamsa Lagna. Moon now in Leo, and Ketu in the 5th - Dharma house, again 5H is Capricorn.. I know none of you use the outer planets, and rightly so with Jyotish. I can't help though note that Neptune is exactly to the degree with less than a 6 minute difference conjoined with his Moon. Guest guest
Dear Patrice, Just a brief email to thank you for your comments. I did not analyse the Nakshatras yet, but it looks like this analysis makes the chart stronger. Also I do not normally use the outer planets, but having started my astrology studies on western astrology in 2001, I do recall that Neptune is among other things the planet for spirituality, so would you agree this adds to my interpretation that this will be a highly spiritual person? Best wishes, Rui. Patrice Curry <patricecurry (AT) adelphia (DOT) net> wrote: Hi Dear Krishna, Rui, and Arun, Interesting to see your thoughts and observations on this chart. Guest guest
Dear Krishna, Just a very quick response for now...still struggling with this virus and not as clear-headed as I need to be, just yet :-( Krishna, I think the question should be more along the line of whether or not the opportunity to pursue a more spiritual life will materialise. I think you already are spiritually inclined...you would not even have asked this question if you were not, nor would you have embarked on the study of this divine science. All of us here are on the spiritual path, so, it's not a matter of 'turning spiritual'. The question is; what are the most favourable periods for spiritual advancement. The position/strength of dasa lords in Vimshamsha should be assessed. You might consider the conjunction of 4th (moksha) lord Mars and lagna lord Sun (in Vimshamsha) etc.. Consider your current dasa lord Saturn in 4th (vimshamsha) in sign of Venus. In rasi, bhukti lord Venus, in nakshatra of Ketu, is dispositor of Ketu's dispositor (8th lord Jupiter) etc.. In the words of Joel Goldsmith...your spirituality is always within your reach...closer than breathing, nearer than hands and feet :-) Hopefully we can talk more about your chart when I'm a little more clear-headed :-) Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com jyotish-vidya ___ - "Krishnamurthy Seetharama" <krishna_1998 > <jyotish-vidya> Sunday, September 17, 2006 3:18 PM Re: RE: Princess Kiko's Son Dear Wendy, Thanks for your inputs. Guest guest
Dear Wendy, //All of us here are on the spiritual path, so, it's not a matter of 'turning spiritual'.// You are right. But, what I meant by 'turning spiritual' is to indicate times when spirituality becomes the way of life - being able to live among people and other wordly things and yet without any attachment to them. You might argue that it would happen gradually and may not happen at any given instant. My question was will I reach that state in my life and if so by when? Is it possible to see it from the chart? //Consider your current dasa lord Saturn in 4th (vimshamsha) in sign of Venus. In rasi, bhukti lord Venus, in nakshatra of Ketu, is dispositor of Ketu's dispositor (8th lord Jupiter) etc.// I see these things (ofcourse, after you indicated them :-)). But, I am not good enough to draw proper conclusions. I would need your help to interpret this. //In the words of Joel Goldsmith...your spirituality is always within your reach...closer than breathing, nearer than hands and feet :-)// Great words indeed! Guest guest
Dear Krishna, //My question was will I reach that state in my life and if so by when? Is it possible to see it from the chart?// The possibility is open to you always, but, no doubt, F/M Saturn, owning 6th house of obstacles and 7th house of desires (kama), can be a hindrance...taking steps to pacify his malefic nature (due to lordship) is advisable... Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com jyotish-vidya ___ - "Krishnamurthy Seetharama" <krishna_1998 > <jyotish-vidya> Monday, September 18, 2006 6:53 PM Re: RE: Princess Kiko's Son Dear Wendy, //All of us here are on the spiritual path, so, it's not a matter of 'turning spiritual'.// You are right. Thanks for sharing. Regards, Krishna
