Guest guest
In order for the mantras to work note this: The mantras need to be chanted many thousand times It helps if they are also understood or if the chanter tries to understand them! The terrorists are humans, they feel hurt for right or wrong reasons! They are already chanting a mantra that is not what you are talking about! Unless they chant Kumar ji's mantra (I KNOW I KNOW it is not HIS mantra!!) would it be right to question the mantra he is recommending? Mantra is the common base! Whether it is "OM bhur.." Or "HOLY FATHER .." or the MANTRA of any of the other major or minor religions! The COMMON thread of all mantras is not the understanding but in the chanting and repetition! Show me ONE mantra that works the first time! AND every single time! IF REPETITION IS THE KEY -- then BIRBAL was right! KHI_CHADI can readily become KHA_CHIDI! Or whatever that *silly* childhood story was about! Maybe it was "RAMA RAMA" or 'MARA MARA" -- whatever! RR -- In , "Prafulla Gang" <jyotish wrote: > > Dear ... > >Let me put > another analogy. Guest guest
Dear Ranjan ji, Yes.. mantras need stringent procedures to be adhered to (including its retication, repetitiveness and associated rituals). That is why, they become cumbersome or rather uneasy - for people at large. It is not just around faith, as people understand it. regards / Prafulla , "crystal pages" <jyotish_vani wrote: > > In order for the mantras to work note this: > The mantras need to be chanted many thousand times > It helps if they are also understood or if the chanter tries to > understand them! > > > > The terrorists are humans, they feel hurt for right or wrong reasons! > They are already chanting a mantra that is not what you are talking > about! > > Unless they chant Kumar ji's mantra (I KNOW I KNOW it is not HIS > mantra!!) would it be right to question the mantra he is recommending? > > Mantra is the common base! Guest guest
Prafulla, There was a desperate moment in my life many many years ago. I chanted a mantra based on my knowledge of jyotish at that time. Almost mindlessly and DESPERATELY! It worked and I got my desired objective. I did not hurt anyone, I think! I am just being plainly honest! Take it or leave it!! It works if you *know* what you are willing and prepared to give up! rr In , "Prafulla Gang" <jyotish wrote: > > Dear Ranjan ji, > > Yes.. mantras need stringent procedures to be adhered to (including > its retication, repetitiveness and associated rituals). Guest guest
Prafulla, Mantras are not specific to any religion, they are just repetitions affirming that we are children with real parents! IF we consider ourselves as orphans and this indeed happen to be so, then it is beyond my scope to explain! We can only be orphans by personal choice and just because we have given up and perhaps that is the best we can do, at this time!! It is still not the end of the experience, trust me!! Guest guest
Dear RR ji and all, It all depends on the faith behind the chanting, dont we all remember Valmiki and his chanting of the mantra given to him.Any chanting with faith certainly results, as proven in my case practically. There is rarely a heartfelt prayer that is unanswered. Guest guest
Dear Naliniji, Absolutely correct. Theres no heartfelt prayer which would not be unanswered. All would be answered. Few conditions do apply. Foremost faith, love and devotion., to the diety. Secondly what is been prayed for, we should be worthy enough to receive. I have succesully seen the effects of RamRakshatra Stotra within one hour recitations on two different times and two different persons. In one hour the temperature of my son came down to 99deg. from 106F . In the other case poison left my daughters body and came out of unconsciousness. These small miracles took place within 1 hour and at the recitation of the 11th time of the mantra. Those who were near me at the time a few among them non-believers also have turned believers now. I have many such instances of Gods grace with various other mantras too,but some other time. The normal chanting of Japa (Ishta mantra)once I completed a good amount before 11.00am. On Sunday normally I attend lectures . On that day at 11.00 when the lecture started, you may find astonishing, for the next two hours whatever sentence the Proffessor was going to speak ,was already formed in my mind, I mean the words were already known to me, what he is going to speak and what is his topic going to me.,with every sentence coming out from his mouth was known to me a few seconds before. Honestly i tell you I did get scared and phoned up my wife at lunch after 1.00 just to check my own normalcy, but then later on realised that sometimes concentrated efforts do activate or energise certain kendras or centres or chakras ,in body whatever you may call them. Be whatever it may be, but Yes Mantras are a powerful way to cleanse our purva paap karmas and also bring us closer to our lovely God. regards, Bhaskar. , "auromirra19" <nalini2818 wrote: > > Dear RR ji and all, > > It all depends on the faith behind the chanting, dont we all > remember Valmiki and his chanting of the mantra given to him.Any > chanting with faith certainly results, as proven in my case > practically. Guest guest
RRji, The questions exist till we know the answers. As even in my case, I had nothing but questions. But Time sometimes blissfully answers your questions but not when you want frantically to know the answers to the questions in the question papers. It all happens when the results are out and you have come out a poor struggling second. BTW I was away for 3months + having a blast in India. Suffciently restored both physically and mentally, I am back to my calling. Guest guest
Nalini ji, Good to hear that you had a wonderful time in India and feel rejuvenated. You are right, question exists as long as answer is not born! However, I think when I asked "Why questions continue to exist.." I meant one question leads to another and so on. The first question may be quenched but the thirst for knowledge continues. As bubbles arise in a turbulent lake, so do questions in a perturbed mind! Answers, thus are not the answer, but be-stilling the waters perhaps is! RR , "auromirra19" <nalini2818 wrote: > > RRji, > The questions exist till we know the answers.
