Guest guest
Can there be stereotypes in astrology, members? Such as: Indians are good at math, Japanese are good with hands and technical prowess Italians are volatile French are the best lovers Africans have the best rhythm <correction: Italians are the best lovers! Sorry if there are any Italian members here :-(> Should there be stereotypes in jyotish, members?? Can there be an Indian that could be the next Rudolph Valentino? Can there be a Chinese that could be the next Einstein? Can there be a Cuban that would be the next Gandhi? Can there be a human that could be the next Deliverer, the next AWATAAR? Am I asking too much, dear Historians? RR
Guest guest
Dear Sir/Madam Rohini Ranjan Ji Do you have some interesting chart to discuss ? I will be much more interested in that. You seem to me a very learned scholar of astrology and must be having plenty of wonderful charts so please share those charts with us. I would like to learn from my mistakes... Guest guest
Dear upaoakcrest/Prathamesh/Jagdosh ji, Have you not been reading this forum, seriously? So many wonderful charts and examples abound!! And there are databases galore that bring so many interesting charts in groups for the REALLY interested! Surely, a researcher like you COULD not have missed those! So are you just out to attack me or prove that I have nothing meaningful to say :-) Why are you so desperate to attack me? Why do I bother you so?? Am I reading too much into your expressed frustration, Sir/Madam? Guest guest
Stereotypes arise when we quickly jump to conclusions based on our own perceptions and limited knowledge, therefore, they should abound in Jyotish! , "crystal pages" <jyotish_vani wrote: > > Can there be stereotypes in astrology, members? > > Such as: > Indians are good at math, > Japanese are good with hands and technical prowess > Italians are volatile > French are the best lovers > Africans have the best rhythm > <correction: Italians are the best lovers! Guest guest
When we say aries means this or that -- we are forgetting: Aries could be in one of 12 houses Aries is lorded by mars that could be in any of the 12 houses based on the ascendant Aries could be in any of the many houses in the divisional charts possible Dispositors and nakshatra dispositors and GOD knows what! But pay attention to nakshatra -- Guruji said! If an exalted or otherwise strong planet rises in the navamsha -- pay attention to it, for it has not arrived there readily and just like that, and it would not leave you in this lifetime so readily! You need not pay attention to it, if you do not have it, obviously! Guest guest
Well, I have to consider the sensibilities of the multitude of jyotishis and their helpless consumers so that I do not load my confusion on them. rishi -- In , "crystal pages" <jyotish_vani wrote: > > :-) > Should be? > Or just ARE because we know not any better, Sir? > > RR > > , "rishi_2000in" > <rishi_2000in@> wrote: > > > > Stereotypes arise when we quickly jump to conclusions based on our > > own perceptions and limited knowledge, therefore, they should > abound > > in Jyotish! > > > > > > > > , "crystal pages" > > <jyotish_vani@> wrote: > > > > > > Can there be stereotypes in astrology, members? > > > > > > Such as: > > > Indians are good at math, > > > Japanese are good with hands and technical prowess > > > Italians are volatile > > > French are the best lovers > > > Africans have the best rhythm > > > <correction: Italians are the best lovers! Guest guest
Why did Guruji say it is my question. For, I am not satisfied with the explanation just because Guruji said it and just because it is written in some ancient book. I am not even satisfied just because I see 79 charts and find this pattern there for what about the 83 charts, I didnot see? So why should I believe that nakshatra and rashi have any correlation? rishi , "crystal pages" <jyotish_vani wrote: > > When we say aries means this or that -- we are forgetting: > Aries could be in one of 12 houses > Aries is lorded by mars that could be in any of the 12 houses based > on the ascendant > Aries could be in any of the many houses in the divisional charts > possible > Dispositors and nakshatra dispositors and GOD knows what! > But pay attention to nakshatra -- Guruji said! > If an exalted or otherwise strong planet rises in the navamsha -- pay > attention to it, for it has not arrived there readily and just like > that, and it would not leave you in this lifetime so readily! > > You need not pay attention to it, if you do not have it, obviously! Guest guest
Neither the Jyotishis nor their clients are helpless, Rishi -- I think we are all learning in this kindergarten for souls -- planet earth! I will feel helpless only in the moment when I would learn how to avoid death and yet be in a position where I would know that I cannot avoid dying! Makes sense?
