Dear Friends,

Regards,

I may like to put forth my views on following basic issues,

1. House division

There are three main streams in predictive

asttrology:Mundane,Parasara/JEMINI, Tajic.

a). Mundane - While predicting earth quacks and cliametic changes

one can not ignore tropical signs . Parasara , way back in about

2000 B.C. ADVOCATED THE USE OF TROPICAL SIGNS FOR THIS PURPOSE AS

SEASONS ARE CONTROLLED BY THE MOVEMENT OF V.E.point.

Vaharha Mihra has not given such indications in his Brihat Samihta

as both Zodics were coinciding in his era.

In case , his dicta will be applied on Tropical zodiac, predictive

ability will difenetly improve . In sky ardara nakshatra has

already sifted by 24 degrees compared to Solstice. How come that ardra

prevesh

horoscope can predict rain -fall.

2. The natives are not directly influenced by Celestial bodies. The

effeccts come through mother earth. As such Geo-contric longitude of

bodies should be used. This is now the general practice

3. True Rahu and Ketu should be used . Mean nodes does not exhist.

I am getting excellent results. This I have shown in my studies on

Vargottama planets.

4. Bhava division : In Arsa astrology equal house division is only

recommended particularly when predictions are on the basis of

Varga charts . the Sripati method or such other methods of unequal

house dividion are valid for Tajic, KP SYSTEMS etc.

5 On Ayanamsa ,I will deal in seperate mail

Namaste.

With all respects due to your learning and experience, I would like to

Could you please indicate the exact reference in which Parashara advocates

the use of tropical zodiac for any purpose? As for seasonal changes,

please consider the following:

According to the tropical zodiac (and the Sun's yearly movement) the

shortest day in the northern hemisphere falls on the 23rd of December.

This is the beginning of Tropical Capricorn, and would be supposed to be

the middle of winter season. However, all of us living in the European

zone know that the middle of winter actually falls on the middle of

January, which is exactly the entrance of the Sun into the sidereal

Capricorn (using Lahiri Ayanamsha). So how would you eaxplain this shift

between the Ayana and the seasons?

Using true nodes mean that they become direct from time to time. Could you

point any reference where the direct movement of the nodes is considered,

either in Ganita or Samhita writings?

I myself do not consider Krishnamurti system as an authentic Vedic system.

So as Sripati, which I think is more linked to Greek astrology. Tajika

looks like more authentically incorporated in the body of Jyotisha.

However is there any direct reference by any of the Tajaka authors like

Harihara etc. where they recommend Sripati system?

I can say from my experience (which may not be as profound as yours) that

I have used the traditional siederal zodiac for mundane readings, coupled

with mean nodes. As for Bhava, I always use the huse=rasi system, either

for mundane, birth charts, yearly or prashna charts and according to my

experience this works.
