Guest guest
Dear Shri.Suri, You are very much correct, in the sense for e.g., a baby was born on 21st April 2006 @ 2.18 am EST (74w27’08”, 40N29’10”).I have conveniently casted a horoscope using Lahiri Ayanamsa, got the janma nakshatra Uttarashadha 8cp35’46.04”thus chosen a name beginning with syllable “Ji”. Our neighbor had disputed it by using Raman Ayanamsa, asserted that the baby was born in the janma nakshatra Saravanam 10cp 02’46.04” and suggested that the name should begin with the syllable “Ki”. The confused parents had approached to yet another 3rd Astrologer, who said with confidence that the baby was born in Dhanishtha nakshatra 2Aq32’27.14” and recommended a name beginning with the syllable “Ku”.The third Astrologer favoured the usage of Tropical Ayanamsa. The flabbergasted parents remark Astrology as a subject of ‘probability'. With regards, D.Sathiyanarayana Gupta. Suri allam <ianianala (AT) (DOT) ca> wrote: Om Sri gurave Namah! Guest guest
Namaste, M/S.Moderator, Sri.P.V.R.NarasimhaRao, I patronize your Jhora softwear.Helping the needy as my past time recreation. I use -> preferences ->related to calculations ->planet calculation options ->Geocentric positions [With out any thorough knowledge of implications]. Now that Mr.Pandit has recommended [by his undernoted mail] the usage of ‘Tpocentric’ option; please put me in the right path to enable me to help others without any avoidable error. Sorry for the inconveniences caused in this regard. Kindly advise. Many softwares also have a parallax correction available. I do not know whether JH Hora has this feature or not ... Guest guest
Namaste, Sri.Prafullaji, If such uncertain /doubtful items are enumerated the list would get elongated, one would wonder to note that how come Vedic Astrology survives with such a vast amount of uncertainty. I salute the people resolute in patronizing this SCIENCE. Guest guest
Dear friends, As per traditions, Name should be based on moon' constellation, lagna's constellation or lagnalord's constellation or the planet strongly infulencing the lagna. For example though born into family of brahmin astrologers- my name is Mrutyunjay- rasi Dhanus- Lagna Leo my younger brother- Sreenivas- Rasi Kanya, Lagna -Kanya my youngest brother- Srikant- rasi vrisha, lagna vrisha- So a lot of option available. --- Interstingly KATIPATYADI SUTRA along with Directionally powerful planet- shows the beginning letters of the name -by which one may be famous in his/her life. --------------- With regards, Mrutyunjay
Guest guest
Traditionally the given name at birth is based only on the Moon's star and pada. This was to assist a learned jyotish to know the postion of moon in the chart of the person, and most prediction were made by transits relative to the moon. jyotish mrutyunjay <astrologer_mrutyunjay > wrote: Dear friends, As per traditions, Name should be based on moon' constellation, lagna's constellation or lagnalord's constellation or the planet strongly infulencing the lagna.
