Guest guest
Dear Gauruv, Please take this lightly and not personally ;-) Does this mean that these unfortunate souls born in these signs (sidereal-Lahiri) would be safe if they hide and do not 'see' the eclipse? Modern Jyotish_remedies concepts indeed corroborate this line of thinking. See no evil ... something that is associated metaphorically with ostriches! When a child is born, generally all over the world -- the planets and celestial phenomena are way far away if not far out from the newborn, crying individual and the team that is tending to it at that moment of its birth! The Jyotishi is generally missing from the moment of birth, unless it is one of the parents or attending birthing team! It all boils down to controling and avoiding karma just by protecting our vision, it seems. Current generation uses Ray-ban goggles, we in my impoverished childhood used dark pieces of overexposed films and X- ray films to shield our retinas -- particularly from lunar eclipses which essentially meant we were looking at the sun! A solar eclipse is negative but it could also be seen as a protective MOTHER protecting us from an angry father (sun) whose anger was quenched by the Mother! A lunar eclipse, on the other hand is very different! When Mother is gone, it becomes a quest towards looking for MA in the darkness even if the warmth of Baba is behind us as we look towards MA! I am sorry if this is meaningless prattle for you. Indulge my innocense -- I am a toddler amongst you wise folks! Guest guest
of course the typo/error was noted and contained by the aware readers ;-) I leave it at that without further comments and elaborations!! Guest guest
Dear Omshankara (from Toronto, I presume?), Assuming that you actually meant to address your query to me directly, I will just like to remind you that eclipses are not all all that rare, though meaningful eclipses are! All the data, documentation are available on the web and elsewhere for the searching! If someone is serious, that is! Each time we are stung by a bee, we think it is a significant moment - - maybe for the bee that dies while we do not! Now 'Yellow Jackets' are different because they do not die each time they sting! I am sorry if wasps are on my mind today, a bit more that the years that I have been exposed to WASPS!
