Jaya Guru Datta:

With the Blessings of His Holiness Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji,

a small group of devotees attended a three day Meditation Retreat at

Datta Retreat Center, West Sunbury, PA during September 2-4, 2006

Sri Datta Yogi Raja explained various techniques of Meditation that allow

individuals to rest the mind (free of scattered thoughts) and attain a state

of

consciousness. Sri Datta Yogi Raja further demonstrated simple and

practical

techniques employed during Meditation. Sri Datta Yogi Raja divided the

subject

during a three day period allowing intermittent breaks in a most serene and

natural

atmosphere empowered by Sri Swamiji's frequent visits.

All those attended felt the divine presence of Sri Swamiji throughout and in

fact it may

be concluded that Sri Swamiji guided the whole process through Sri Datta

Yogi Raja

consistent with Sri Swamiji's Quote which follows:

"Meditation is the means for man to develop higher faculties. It is noble and

elevating.

Deep Meditation leads to intuition, and helps to attain calmness of mind.

Meditation

Is the basis of all attainments" Sri Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda

Swamiji

Additional note: We deeply appreciated Sri Datta Yogi Raja for his

commitment and presence

at W. Sunbury, PA.
