remedy for long flights causign vata aggravation

I am planning to go to India for a wedding and have extensive flight times

and my vata does get deranged due to these heavy flight conditions I was

wondering if anyone knew of any remedies for this situation. I was told hot

showers are good which makes sense but is there any herbal preparation or

anything of that nature which can calm the nerves and excitement down.

Raja,

 

I would suggest cold showers instead of hot showers. Cold showers

make the nerves stronger. I would also try to set the "body clock"

to the new time zone as soon as possible.

It would also be good to do shouldstand and plough poses when you get

to your destination.
