Om Amriteswari Namah

Ammachi, please guide and bless us as we open our

hearts to the teaching of the Sri Guru Gita. Divine

Mother, stand with us, as we grow in our Selves and as

we continue to open our hearts and our minds to your

Love and Light. Amma, show us how to share your

inspiration and your Love for us with the World.

We dedicate our study today to Peace on this Earth,

and to healing the hearts of humankind.

Guru Gita Study Session 7

Verse 28. The Lord Said:

Continually serve the Guru with mind, speech and

action. Prostrate fully like a stick in front of Her

without the lease reserve.

Verse 29.

Consecrate everything to the true Guru; the body, the

senses, the prana. Consecrate everything to the Guru

-the soul, the wife/husband, everything.

Verse 30.

O Beautiful One! Do not hesitate in offering to the

Guru this body which is full of germs, worms, waste,

matter, foul-smelling urine and feces, phlegm, blood

and flesh, and which is finally reduced to ashes.

Verse 31.

Salutations to the revered Guru who uplifts souls

mounted on the tree of the world sinking into the

ocean of hell.

Verse 32.

Gurubrahma gurvisnur,

gurudevo mahesvarah;

Gurureva parabrahma,

tasmai srigurave namah.*

The Guru is Brahman, He is Vishnu, He is Shiva. The

Guru is indeed the Supreme Absolute. Salutations to

Him.

Thank you Stacy for posting these sessions. Yesterday I realized how I always need to have an attitude of service. This will eliminate so many problems, especially associated with ego. Thanks again.
